Even if we somehow came up with the money required to sign him I still think it's highly unlikely. He seems to have set his sights far higher than us going off quotes. I suppose there is a small chance if nobody else bids for him.

Someone did a mock up of our kit based on the leaked images. So I whacked it into Fifa Pc to see how it looked. Seems basically last seasons but with blue lines all over it and the new collar. If any of that is true then it's just another bullshit Pardew excuse. He moaned about needing players and then when he got given them and still flopped he blamed the quality of the players. Might be complete bollocks but if not we can only hope Carr wins in the end.

If Carr walks out I think I really will try to detach myself from the club. The only good thing that was still working well would be gone. If they genuinely believe that Darren Bent and Tomkins are the answer to our problems then I'm done.
