Problem is I still see them beating Stoke at home. Plus Southampton have really dipped and had two men sent off last game.

Villa will be fine now. Any suggestion we might still survive even if we get no more points is gone though. Simply have to take care of ourselves and get at least 4 points i would say.

You're becoming a parody of yourself. We made Southampton, Sunderland, Liverpool and even Reading look fantastic, why would we playing as we are, not make Q.P.R. look great too. You may have noticed that we are the worst football team, with the worst defence and the worst away record in the league. Away at Q.P.R. Parody indeed. The pressure is off qpr now and that will help them...These little things are critical now. I am slightly worried about this too. Nagging feeling they will play better now but there's no basis for it because they have been useless even after being all but down for awhile anyway. I'm hoping it will go the other way and hardly any fans will turn up and the players are on holiday and can't be arsed.

We're going to have nearly everyone fit bar Santon, possibly Marveaux and obviously some squad players like R.Taylor and Vuckic. He's been moaning about injuries all season but now he has a near enough strongest team to put out. No excuses if we're positive we can get the results.

Just hope they can turn in a performance on saturday because we're on the brink.

I don't think the players realised the shit they were in then Mick (as stupid as that sounds) but surely with the extra pressure now on them to get something plus West Ham and QPR having nothing to play for apart from wanting to beat us we should expect our players to be more fired up and motivated than the opposition.

If villa lose it will surely de-motivate them going into the remaining games (i know we are as low as possible on confidence but shut up ) Plus looking at Sunderlands easy remaining fixtures it is massive that they do us a favour tonight because anyone saying "oh if villa win it drags sunderland back into it". Well it really doesn't as they have two fairly easy home games and -7 goal difference.

Don't forget Wigan have only got 2 points from their last 5 games. Yes they are playing better than us but they are where they are for a reason we can't just assume they will win all the remaining games and we'll get nothing. I think they will beat Swansea at home as Swansea seem on holiday but the rest of their fixtures are going to be difficult. West Brom away is possible but not easy, then Arsenal away 3 days after a cup final? Ofcourse then the big one villa vs wigan.
