We are in free fall, it's all about where we land. Villa and Wigan are fighting. Yeah, but we have a points cushion on both sides (Villa could cut that tonight) and they have to play each other. It's just incredibly negative to assume that we will not pick up any points from our remaining games but Villa and Wigan will. Yeah, put it this way. If Villa or Wigan has QPR away and we didn't we would all be assuming they would easily get 3 points. There is no excuse not to go there and win. The only way that is possible is if we roll over and let Taarabt and Remy take the piss.

I hate Redknapp and like people say he would never come up north but I can see him getting a lot more out of Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Cabaye etc Plus he could convince Remy to come with him. But basically anybody would be an improvement on Pardew at this point and for the first time ever I actually wouldn't care if it was Redknapp. (Except it won't be anyway so this is pointless of me )

Yeah I think you have to include Carver, Stone and Woodman in with the criticism of Pardew. They're all culpable just not as much as Pardew.

Don't mate it's necessary. Villa would then have Norwich away(also needing a win to get clear) and Chelsea at home (who surely will need to win to ensure top 4, plus they battered villa earlier in the season) So tonight is massive for us and puts alot of pressure on villa.

Some of the supposed "Must wins" this season we actually have so I'm hopeful that when the staff and players actually get there arse in gear they can pull out some sort of result. Hopeful rather than expectant though.

Put him off the striker like sunderland are doing with Sessegnon if he isn't fully fit and then he can just get involved when he needs to rather than constantly having to track back.

I still can't get over the defensive line for most of the goals on saturday. That fourth one was absolutely ridiculous, Sturridge looked embarrassed to score.

Select our pacy players start with a 4-3-3 and try and play clinical counter attacking football with Ben Arfa, Sissoko and Gouffran.

Problem is that Pardew won't set up offensively like that from the start of a game especially not now. But he just doesn't seem to understand that if you start like that then you push the other team back and give them something to worry about. That lineup yesterday was utterly staggering and he got exactly what he deserved for sending that team out. Lambs to the slaughter.
