This question getting floated daily is starting to grind my gears. It’s been covered dozens and dozens of times already. All of those clubs sell players for massive profits. We don’t. Grealish alone bought Villa like what? three seasons? of essentially unlimited spending. They’re also all much further along in commercial deals than we currently are.

If that happened that’s really fucked. This is the kind of stuff that makes me believe that the feasibility study will end up showing that expanding SJP is not the preferred option for the club. Best case scenario is moving it up the hill a bit with a world class stadium in Leazes Park and turning SJP into a new city park leading up to the new stadium - hopefully incorporating the history of SJP into it (ie: keeping the pitch where it is or something similar).

It seemed very very precautionary rather than anything else. He wasn’t in any real pain or anything (at least that’s what it seemed like).
