he said that we’re not a high pressing team like what bro?!

American pundits waxing poetic about us. Don’t think I’ll ever get used to this.
-
Thank god Howe won’t see it that way.
-
This is a losers mentality and the actual anthesis of Howe.
-
I think with two real quality signings in January and we could up amongst the top 3-6 come the end of the season.
-
Let's just get these three points and go fourth aye?
-
Presumably.

As if I couldn’t love this dude enough. Now he has a Geordie baby. Perfect.
-
We’ve given a game to every team we’ve played, home and away. We’re one 98th minute goal from being unbeaten. I’m not scared of anyone.
-
Fuck yes. Win tomorrow and we’re top 4.
-
Really would love for this to end 1-1 to be honest.
-
We’re getting three points against this lot in a couple of weeks.

This will be hailed as some tactical chess match where no one could get the breakthrough, won’t it?
-
Chelsea fans booing him is a bit shit like.

Genuinely having a hard time with VAR, as an American. I truly believe it has it’s place. I mean at the end of the day there are literally millions of dollars on the line so we can’t be having bogus calls. It’s life and death for clubs, especially in England. But at the end of the day, the reason I reference being American, is that the way we do it here so much different. Our refs/officials/etc make the call on the field/court that they see and then, and only then, if there is irrefutable video evidence because of replays does it get overturned. VAR needs to operate more in that way - the call on the field stands until proved otherwise.

Douglas Luis red card overturned in the end.
-
It’ll be some class away days for our fans for sure.
-
To be fair, we do plenty of the same.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer team.
-
Villa From worse to worse.
-
It’ll get overturned surely.

This Fulham v Villa match is about as clear of an advertisement as you can get for having a good coach over having a good ol’ PFM. Fulham don’t have great players but their coach knows how to make them better the sum of their parts. Villa and Gerrard are the exact opposite.
