Damn shame that I dropped Berbatov and replaced him with Anelka in the fantasy squad this week.
-
Drogba is out of this world today.
-
If I were to try and swing that kind of stuff I would wait by where they come out/in of the stadium to grab some autographs, they are generally pretty cool about it.
-
I don't remember the exact incident but during the match something happened that didn't go Everton's way and he literally groaned out-loud.
-
Made me literally lol, well played.

DC v Houston will probably be a better game but then again, most of MLS is like watching paint dry. With that cheaper ticket you'll still be able to get down in the front if you want, just wait till the OAPs checking tickets at the end of the tunnels turn around or walk through with a large group.

It's from that MC Hammer song back in the 90s.
-
DC has two of the best supporters groups, go sit with them if you can (won't be a problem).

It's like one of those Bangkok not-so-secret bar shows where chicks pop ping-pongs out their vaginas.

There weren't even that many minutes left. It was around like the 85th minute IIRC.

We want him to do absolutely brilliantly & keep us up. Everything that comes with that we can worry about later. That's pretty much the way that I feel but thought it might stir up some debate.
-
Was thinking about this earlier but; How well do we want him to do? Obviously if he does well he could have his head turned when/if the big guns come in for him and try and manufacture a move somewhere else like he did to get to us. On the same side of that coin, if he does well it would generally mean that we were doing well.

Not just you. Cracks me up every time I see someone in this thread saying how sad they are. Totally agree.
-
I had a sad thought while watching the match today. He's the only player I trust 100% when he's on/near the ball or being challenged but he won't be able to play for us forever. There will be a day when he's not here and that will be a sad day. On another note, had a great game today.

The obvious guess is that they've probably been monitoring him, but were wary of his reputation for falling out with teammates/managers/etc and generally being a disruptive influence off the pitch. Can also see quite a few managers not willing to take a chance on a flair player who might not buy into the team ethos or might not follow tactical instructions. Similar to how Anelka ended up at Bolton, then a season and a half later had ManU and Chelsea scambling to sign him (even though he was the same quality player ability-wise he has been for much of his career and prior to his move to Bolton). It probably just needed someone else to take the risk and show that he wasn't an unsettling influence and his ability did warrant investment. I reckon this is spot on.

Would love to bring Shay back for the bench. Would make me lol everytime they showed his sad face on the bench.
-
How the fuck do they fit 40k in there?
-
The grass should be cut in straight lines, to help the linesmen out. It is in the "final third" area of the pitch.
-
Was a rock today, absolutely love having him in the squad.
-
A few nervy moments for Krul today (although I think it was mostly defensive errors that put him under pressure) but I think overall he played well.
-
Awesome match today. I think the biggest thing we saw today was that almost everyone played close to the level that we think they can play at. Even players like Nolan had a great match today. I really enjoyed some of the football we played today.

Nailed on penalty.
