Can we get some suggestions of people outside of this country please?
-
I fear a lot of people calling for Ashley to sell and for us to have a new owner are going to have to eat a lot of humble pie when faced with the alternatives that come in. Ashley is by no means a great owner, but we could be in a far worse ownership situation.

Agreed. Our movement off of the ball has been so horrible this season.
-
Us having fuck all squad depth. That bench is a fucking joke for a team chasing a European position who've just had the chance to strengthen their squad. Huh?
-
Would much rather Arsenal win than Chelsea/Man U.
-
Can't believe I have to miss the second half

Glad common sense is prevailing in the poll, even if people aren't backing up their vote on the page. Was it probably the wrong thing to do with bad timing? Yeah. Should we really give a shit? No.

If, and that's a big if, this actually happened, then it was the right thing to do.

Which he bought for 5.5m if I remember correctly, not "undisclosed"
-
Nani's ball on that, crazy good.
-
Makoun(sp?) for Villa looks pretty tidy.
-
I'm sure they've heard that Carroll signed a transfer request too.

I keep reading this but don't really believe it tbh. On top of us having some cash, they will also know that we seriously need to rebuild our squad. We won't be paying over the odds for players. I actually think it will strengthen our position. Would another club rather take 10m cash that window or 12-15m over three or whatever seasons? I think I know which one I'd go for.

If a bid for 15 Million quid was put in, do you think Blackpool will take the higher moral ground and reject the transfer? Its all relative .... They did accept a bid, and I'm not even sure if it was that high.
-
Of course he would say that, doesn't mean it's true though. The simple fact is: he signed a transfer request. Whatever else went on, he didn't have to sign one, but he did, and he didn't look that gutted afterwards.

I'll be the first: Smith.

I don't understand why he isn't living up to his potential. Gio in a Mexican shirt is terrifying. Agreed. Especially when he plays for a Spurs side that I think has a lot of similarities to the Mexican NT (very fluid). Wouldn't mind seeing him here to be honest.

I'd like to see us put a bid in for Herculez Gomez from Pachuca even though he's 28. Has a relatively decent scoring record and would be a good option to bring on if we play 4-5-1 and wanted to switch it up to 4-4-2. I think his class is pretty easy to see when he's out there with the USMNT.

If Ireland picked up his form and we got a really good player out of him this wouldn't look too bad come the start of next season: Tiote Ireland Dempsey Ben Arfa New Striker
-
Got rid of him so we wouldn't have to look for a manager after he resigned tomorrow. touche!
-
Glad we got rid of Hughton who had a relatively good transfer record to replace him with Pardew for this awesome transfer window.

The "he's rumoured to be out for another month why didn't they have another striker lined up already" line?
