  1. A few nervy moments for Krul today (although I think it was mostly defensive errors that put him under pressure) but I think overall he played well.
  2. Awesome match today. I think the biggest thing we saw today was that almost everyone played close to the level that we think they can play at. Even players like Nolan had a great match today. I really enjoyed some of the football we played today.
  3. What a touch by Tiote there. And tackle by Carroll. What team is this?
  4. When he made the great run I was like "who the fuc... oh man Colo!" and then he had a great pass to top that off.
  5. I would probably bring him on around 60-70 for Nolan and push BA into the middle.
  6. Good first half from us. Would love to see us play like this more often, just wish we had created more chances for all of the possession we had.
  7. This is what will happen. Ben Arfa will start from the bench.
  8. Would love to see the results/discussion of this on a non-Newcastle board.

  10. Shearer was a better goal scorer but Drogba has much more to his overall game. Whether that is down to just skill/desire/whatever or just what you have to have about you to be a world-class striker in the league these days we'll never know. What we do know is that they are two amazing strikers and both are almost unplayable when they want(ed) to be.
  11. I see this being very one-sided, even if it's not the truth.
  12. Which one ? ToonArmyUSA, although no one's really posted on it in a long while.

I was wondering the same thing, I had to check Cisse's wiki last night when I posted it.

    MLS 2010

That bodes well for them changing it. It's always been a gripe of mine that so many teams make the post-season every year in MLS. You can literally win a handful of games and be in the post-season which devalues each match immensely. If every match matters, more people will show up. Also, on the Timber's website there are a bunch of questions about season ticket prices. Right now I'll just assume that all of the tickets already sold were under the assumption of these matches and only existing teams will have more expensive season tickets.

"Major League Soccer announced today that with the addition of the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps in 2011, the regular season schedule will expand to 34 matches. This means every team will play each other once in a home-and-away set up" Finally.
  17. Only choices we get here are the Inter match and the Man U match.
