Nah we’ll finish 9th imo, and that’s with the assumption that we’ll sign Diaby (or whoever) and a young striker on loan. If we get Tielemens/ Sucic/ Thuram I’d say 7th or 8th.
-
You’d definitely get more value for money with the former but spending 50m plus for a highly rated, shiny new foreign player- a virgin to these shores-would be sexier imo. Not to mention it being a bigger statement of intent if nothing else.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Demand is high, supply is fixed, prices go up. It’s the nature of the beast, rightly or wrongly. -
. Respectfully disagree. Madueke seems very injury prone and leans too heavily on his athleticism (although I do really like him too). Sinisterra looks, to me, to have the superior footballing iq; like a young Stirling but strikes the ball with more authority.
-
25 million apparently! Outrageous stuff.
-
They’ll just move Harrison to the right.
-
Ah, the Belgian Havertz. Honestly, they’re attempting amazing moves in the market; could end up being better in the long-run after their high profile sales. If I hadn’t made it clear yet ( ) I massively rate Sinesterra. Imo he’s already very close if not better than Raphinha in terms of ability. He’ll be a 100m player in a few years.
-
He’s fantastic and has everything to become one of the world’s best players. Different positions but I’d prefer him to Diaby if I’m being honest.
-
I would . Stunning signing for them imo. Most teams should be saying that. They won’t miss Raphinha… he’s that good.
-
Pin this post if you like but he’s better than Antony.
-
Christ that’s a fantastic piece of business for Leeds; genuinely good enough to be a top 6 player. Not sure how they’ve managed to pull this off.
-
He’s not an out and out dm though nor is he any more defensive minded than Tielemans is. I do agree though that a defensive cm would be nice but Haidara is far from that.
-
Haidara over Tielemens? No way. I like Haidara a lot but he’s several levels in quality below Youri imo.
-
People not rating Tielemens now? Yikes. Either way, he isn’t coming here (unfortunately).
-
Broja has all the tools to become a top striker. Would be a fine understudy to Wilson and, for similar money, is more PL-ready than Ekitike.
-
Yeah, not saying people are lying but I’ve bought several things from Castore for gym and boxing or whatever and the material they use is leagues above Nike and Adidas. Haven’t bought any of their NUFC stuff though so who knows…
-
Nature of the beast when you’re a free transfer though. Can’t see anyone offering more than 100k though, unless Everton are truly desperate.
-
Lingard would be fine on a free so long as he isn’t going for silly wages. He’s basically a budget Paqueta, so we’ll have more money to splurge on an RW and a Striker.
-
Where is all this talk for Tielemens coming from? Assumed he was off to Arsenal?
-
Shame we’re not even linked though
-
Gallagher is a very good player. He may not be as technically gifted as Bruno (not many are tbf) but he’s a lot better physically and very well-rounded. In the right system he’d flourish; guy’s got all the tools to be a top player imo.
-
Completely agree. Think he’d be a very good signing, even at 30m.
-
I will say though, this is based off YouTube videos and what my Bayern friend has told me so I’m by no means an authority on the kid
-
Not a massive fan of his. Looks slow and lazy in the press; doesn’t really have the athletic gifts you’d expect of a young a Nigerian striker. Seems decent technically though.
-
If true, it’s unusual for Romano to sky it over from the 6 yard line like that.
