  1. made that point.. you see america doesn't care, they have their own silly shit going on and don't give a damn about "everyone else" love them american shows though
  2. not looking at it i'm asuming its a paralell to the derby reaction..
  3. Try being a fan in the States. Wait, don't. You'd lose your s***. i feel sorry for you.. when i visited a family friend (a brit) who lives in queens, i hated those pricks who interrupted (his yankydoodle friends) saying "its called soccer", real football is more of a man's game um.. no it f****** isn't, we invented the sport so we can call it what we want- do we call basketball spamalamdingdong. and yeah american football is a man's game ffs, those guys are more padded up then their illiterate soldiers. needless to say things got violent Ah that would prrrrrroper grind my gears that like. I would have brought up the whole 'world series' thing with baseball to see how they'd justify naming it that. American football might be tougher than football, but its hardly tougher than rugby. i remeber saying stuff like "just because you americans are too impatient and stupid to sit through a 90 minute game without seeing a 50-55 scoreline, doesnt make it boring.. u fat shit" and it pissed me right off when they called it a "pansy sport" and that it takes less skill to "hoof a ball down the field" than to "pick out a runningback with a pin-point throw"... i fucking exploded (btw i'm not joking when i said it got violent, we actually came to blows until friends split us up.. now that passion )

  5. the sad thing is... its almost true
  6. down to poor tactics by rafa again.. the man doesn't understand that the PL has to take priority, not putting your best players on at the beginning of the game is madness
  7. We created 20 shots with 10 on target vs Wigan. Should we be creating more? We have scored 6 goals in 5 games, yes not the greatest haul but not the worst either. Barton and Emre are the 2 "creative" players in our team, not quite Gerrard and Alonso but they will do more work in the final 3rd than Butt or Geremi would. Thought that was pretty obvious. let's face it no matter how many stats you try to throw about, we havn't exactly been a creative force so far. What Baggio and others are saying is that teams like ManCity for example have been playing good football. Check with Doc Spectrum if you like he is delighted. Have Man City been missing their 2 central midfielders who could be classed as creative or attacking? the roeder excuse " i swear will break the top 6 if all our players are fit"
  8. they've played man utd and arsenal they've also played some convincing football.. hate them though (just wanted to add that)
  9. Phil K and baggio have every right to be frustrated, we've had an easy run of games and failed miserably to gain the amount of points we should have. people saying we're a middle table outfit and it'll take time yadayada.. bollocks look at man city... "lets not get our hopes up too high for fear of being let down boohoo"- whats happening to newcastle fans. wheres the ambition, the delusions of grandeur ffs how about a "we're gannin win the league like!"
  10. yeah if he keeps getting shunned like this there's no doubt he'd want away in the jan tranfer window... if you're not playing you might as well not play for a more successful team.
  11. would be a big blow if we lost against west ham on home soil.. mainly cos i hate the bastards but like i said before, i had a dream tht we lost 3-2 just a silly dream but it'd be freaky if it were to come true.. *rubs crystal ball, smirking*
  12. wow, a new low RIP.. seems footballers are dying a lot these days.
  13. i dunno.. a bit of a voyeur myself.. lets rub them down with oil and give 'em gloves he called you a dirty gloryhunting scouse danny , don't be a wuss get 'in
  14. Scored 2 against Bolton, set up the winner against Wigan. Pretty decent impact really. exactly, he's pure class (ask skirge) and its somewhat of an outrage that ameobi was picked ahead of martins for the derby game.. i don't give a damn about this "play a big player next to owen'' nonsense if it means ameobi is above martins in the pecking order.
  15. eh? based on ability alone, most teams do have automatic starters- adds stability and players get to know eachothers playing styles.
  16. takes his role of captaincy a little too seriously iyam, probably stands next to BS saying "yeah, hes right" after every sentence when he gives the half-time team talk. wouldn't be surprised if he wears the armband in the shower...
  17. For me he is.. i mean feel bad for the lad, easily our best player last season (albeit he didn't have much competition), our topscoring striker this season and doesn't get a start. He would walk into most premiership teams' first 11 imo Overshadowed by owen right now, but theres no definitive proof that the two can't play together
  18. "rafa's a balding wanker with a silly goatee"- Big sam
  19. not surprised really.. is there any set piece he doesn't take?
