Mbeumo has like a year left on his contract (with them likely extending another year) and you’d imagine he’d push for a move this summer so I’d say 50m? Huijsen has a release clause but it doesn’t mean there isn’t a deal to be had around 40 odd? Trafford will go for 20m probably. So like 110ish in the scenarios I’ve basically just dreamt up . 120m gets them all imo.

And improve us massively . I’m sure we can get those 2 and Trafford for just a bit over 100m and I’d class that as a very successful summer.

Hard to say if he’s better than Trafford but Hermanssen is really underrated imo.

I’d rather proven quality than imagination in all honesty. Or at least a mix of the two with heavy focus on the former. We can’t be taking wild punts; just do what we’ve been doing thus far that’s brought us from relegation fodder to CL-place contenders. Let other teams with less lofty ambitions take the risks; we can’t afford many seasons without European football. Buying younger, proven stars with great attitudes who can grow with us (like Gordon, Bruno, Tonali, Botman, Livramento) has served us well. I don’t see why we’re desperate to be another Brighton? People will say PSR etc. but all of those players I’ve listed would go for double the amount we bought them for; we just don’t want to sell them.

I like Nunez or, rather, I like what he could be. If he can get it together in front of goal he’d be one of the most coveted strikers in the world. That being said it’s lot of “ifs” and “could bes” with him. Isak is a sure thing and there’s no way I’d want to lose him unless it’s for insane money (I’m taking 150m plus) and him pushing for a move.
