All my ITK stuff has been woefully wrong so I stopped bothering . Regarding Sela, they’re under The General Entertainment Authority and Ministry of Sport so perhaps not technically under PIF but it is, like. Anything associated to Vision 2030 is obviously headed by the Saudi State/PIF. edit: actually it is definitely and publically owned by PIF. Ignore the last paragraph.

Re: Sela, I’m best friends with their CEO ffs and he watched the Leicester game with me. How on Earth did he keep that quiet, the bastard . Definitely PIF owned btw.

Hope we’re in for Pavard this summer. Feel like he’s a super underrated cb and is an equally good Rb to boot.
-
I don’t think that’s an unreasonable assumption tbf. At least half of the PL teams will spend 100m+ this summer you’d imagine, with the top 8 (and Chelsea) probably spending over 150m. We almost have to spend that much if we want to retain our seat at the big table imo.
-
Not necessarily, Tierney is very good defensively so could dependably sit back if required. He’s obviously more of a threat offensively (with his pace and delivery) than Burn too.
-
Keep banging this drum but besides the shit logo, Castore haven’t released a bad kit for us. Quality seems pretty decent as well.
-
Christ, I hope not.
-
Nah, might be a mental thing but he looks a yard slower and seems to have lost that fearless style of play that made him so exciting to watch. Hope it’s a blip though, was -and hopefully still is- such a talent.
-
I’d have to see him in the PL first. Bundesliga tax and all that. A fit maxi would better those numbers over there imo, although there’s no way I can prove that
-
I don’t see the point in spending that kind of money on Diaby and wanting to sell ASM. He’s a worse version of Maxi; the guy’s defensive contribution is absolutely zero and has less vision. Only advantages are his age, ability to play on the right and he’s less injury-prone. Otherwise he’s an inferior version.

Yeah, they’re fair but I wouldn’t say they were cheap. Arguably our 2 biggest bargains/ success stories in Bruno and Botman came from there so it’s a market I’d love for us to keep tapping.
-
Not necessarily either: Aguerd went for 35m, Tchouameni for 80m, Onana for 35m, Paqueta for 40 odd etc. Not cheap. In saying that, I do think it’s a league we should be looking at; so many great young talents with the physicality to succeed in the PL.
-
Finding 3 “Bruno’s” is a bit of a stretch. “On the continent” deals are no where near as cheap these days; see Mudryk, Antony etc. We were unbelievably lucky with Bruno. You can’t bank on getting players like that for 40m.
-
Yeah, Pep just needs a CL trophy and he’s the best manager of all-time for me.
-
Wew.

Selling clubs obviously have prices they will let their players go for and Howe’s answers in an interview will have zero bearing on that. Best to take him at face value and not assume he’s lying in some devious ploy to pressure other clubs to sell or whatever.

Would love a win here to nab 3rd.

Hoping Leicester and Everton go down. Big Sam to be all smug before getting sacked for a forrin in the summer and moaning about it on pundit shows for the rest of his life.
-
One of our best pickups was Ashworth.
-
maybe. Wouldn’t be my first choice for sure, but there’s enough there for Howe to work with (at the right price). Hope we go for someone better though, obviously.
-
Right or wrong I think we’ll be in for him this summer.
-
My guess is we’ll be spending around 150m. edit: basically what rocafella said.
-
Or the Champions League theme tune! So obvious.

Should be celebrating yet here I am fuming at the dj.

Oh fuck off DJ!!
