Murphy is the best

This feels high stakes and low stakes at the same time. I'm nervous but mostly just excited. Will be way more nervous for Sheffield United where anything but 3 points is a failure.

Excited for this midfield.

Maybe there's some reason to worry, I have no idea. But I think this is much more about treating it like another game. The occasion got to us at Wembley. This could too and I think he's reacting to that. Louise Taylor will do anything to negatively slant a Newcastle story.

Yes, although doesn't take long to trace the money back to the same couple places... RedBird Capital owns AC Milan (and Toulouse and is one of the largest shareholders in Fenway Sports Group aka Liverpool) RedBird has received significant funding from Sheikh Mansour Mansour's City Football Group names Silver Lake as its second largest investor Silver Lake has received significant equity funding from Sanabil, which is a company owned 100% by PIF

Honestly the players will probably be happy about this. You want to play in the Champions League to be on the world stage and to play the best. That's PSG, Dortmund, and Milan - not a group that could be mistaken for the Europa League. And I think the lower expectations could help with nerves. -

I can get behind this. I think some portion of supporters were getting a little ahead of themselves. This week (and back to City) maybe a bit of a reality check. And there's something to be said for us truly being the underdog here vs. a group where expectations would be higher. It's certainly not impossible to finish 3rd and get into the Europa League and maybe we'll even do better than that. -
I hope he gets a warm reception at the San Siro. Might be rough for him if he doesn't.

I don't know who asked for this version of the Champions League theme. Just get an orchestra and a choir. -

I felt the same way. I've barely been on here since Sunday. I've quickly scrolled past any news related to the Premier League. I have no idea if my fantasy team won this past weekend. Had no idea we drew City until this morning. The CL theme has been playing on repeat this morning and I'm now looking forward to this, but that result really ruined me. -
I'm sure there's been one, but I'm struggling to remember a worse, more gut-wrenching defeat.
