Club's found in breach of those rules will also be punished by the Premier League in the season it occurs with <X fine> and/or <Y points deduction> Then they would avoid so much hassle, shift most blame / oversight to UEFA, and largely have the same outcome for the puppet masters. The group who would absolutely hate this are the Championship gatekeepers - the likes of Palace, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford.

Stats wise Forest are much more similar to 2022/23 Man United with a better story. The problem for them and their style is the margins are so thin. They've scored first in 77% of their games. When they've conceded first they've won 0.50 points per game (league avg. is 0.73; NUFC at 1.13). They haven't trailed at halftime at home all season. In the five away games they've trailed at halftime they've earned one point.

This could have gone badly so fair play to all involved, and Bunce especially, for making it work.
