  1. Colback and Dummett really stand out as liabilities in games like this.
  2. I still can't believe this is the late kickoff. St. James Park under the lights on display for all of America on NBC. Haven't been this excited for a game in awhile. This will not end well.
  3. Chelsea 2-0 Sunderland Everton 1-1 Leicester Man Utd 3-0 Norwich Southampton 1-2 Spurs Stoke 1-0 Crystal Palace West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth Newcastle 3-0 Aston Villa Watford 1-1 Liverpool Swansea 0-1 West Ham Arsenal 2-1 Man City
  4. So what's the consensus - think it will be an unchanged team? I'd really like to bring one of our attacking players into my fantasy team for this.
  5. We've been pretty fortunate with injuries so far. I'm not going to complain about a loan that adds some depth. [Required disclaimer: As long as it doesn't prevent other signings.]
  6. It would be glorious. Would show up our "can't compete with the top 6" bullshit for what it is.
  7. They would be mad to sell Vardy and Mahrez. If they flogged them though their fees would be astronomical. £40 million to Man Utd I reckon If they sold either of them in January I think I'd be more upset than when we sold Carroll/Cabaye.
  8. I hate comments like this, a team high on confidence for longer them a short spell winning games, beating a team low on confidence, happens all over the world. There's no doubt Chelsea have the beat team bar Man City, but confidence plays a huge part in these sort of things, also this season, bar Bayern and Barca the two best teams in europe, most leagues have been quite unpredictable. The point still stands like, the quality of the Premier League is poor. It's more competitive, but personally I'd rather watch good football over poor, competitive football. Eh, I'll watch the Champions League or Barcelona if I want to watch good football. This is way more fun - Leicester City are going to be top of the league a week before Christmas. If we had any sort of ambition we could have some fun. I'm not sure what sort of point this is to make. I'm just saying that the quality of the Premier League has dipped and that it's not as good to watch for me. I'd rather watch good quality every week, over poorer, more competitive football. It's not a case of either/or, it should be both when it's one of the top leagues in the world. Basically when Bale and Suarez went to La Liga was when the league quality dipped massively. My point is I'd rather watch a lower standard of football at the top (I think the teams in the bottom half are at least as good as they've ever been in the last decade) if it means there are more unpredictable results, surprising teams at both ends of the table, etc. This is infinitely more interesting.
  9. They would be mad to sell Vardy and Mahrez. If they flogged them though their fees would be astronomical. That hadn't even crossed my mind as an option. I meant how much do they spend to go for it (title/top 4), what do they feel like they can add without taking away from the chemistry they have, etc.
  10. Going to be fascinating to see what Leicester does in January.
  11. The real question is how have you never noticed your Vice Captain was not getting double points?

  13. No help in having Mahrez as VC. Explain, please... Vice Captain is only in case your Captain doesn't play.
  14. In my draft league after the first week of the season I dropped De Jong and was looking at Leicester players based on the first performance. I chose Albrighton. Mahrez went 45 minutes later. Says it all about how things are going for me.
  15. At what point can we include Chelsea in the relegation discussion?
  16. Yup, very similar style especially when running with the ball.
  17. Apologies if this was posted already: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/moussa-sissoko-plays-well-newcastle-10597792
  18. Seeing an awkward man hug between him and the secretary instead of our fans going mental is my only complaint from yesterday.
  19. The next few weeks are really important. Build on these two wins and we can buy with a longer term outlook and hopefully try to really kick on. It would have been grim trying to convince quality players to join in January with less than 15 points. Either way, I'm probably just excited after today and we'll be complete cunts in January regardless of our situation.
  20. This game will define our season. Show up and win it and we've really got something to build on and could even start looking up instead of at the teams behind us. Lose this and we're back to where we were 3 weeks ago. Obviously the unexpected six points help immensely, but it'd be a relegation battle all season with a team that chooses when to put in a performance.
  21. That's the most I've celebrated a goal in a long time. A come from behind, injury time winner on my birthday. Good times.
  22. McLaren laughing at the fact Mitrovic wasn't ready to come on when he wanted him. "Still a long way to go. Need to do that consistently."
