It's May 15 and I'm already sick of people being surprised by transfer fees. Depending on what year you want to travel back to just divide every number you see by something between 3 and 6.

I've posted on them before. Right the top few teams separate off, halve their points, only play on Mondays and double points if there's a full moon type system. Pretty sure the goals are invisible and refereeing is by popular vote. Just went down a Wiki hole trying to work out what in the f*** is going on. They have playoffs for Europa League places that include teams from the 2nd division, but exclude everyone in the top 6?? So if you're in the top 6, and make the Champions Playoff thing, but end up finishing last, you don't get s***. Where as 3rd place in the 2nd division might make the Europa League?!? class. Was just digging into this. The winner of the 'playoff 2' plays a "final" against the 5th place side from 'playoff 1' for the Europa League spot. Still doesn't make sense - why wouldn't 5th just get it? or 5th play 6th?

On the pitch? Justin Lockwood. Wasn't he the radio announcer for the 4-4?

Fucking fantastic news and this board immediately starts counting pennies and worrying it's not enough. The pain will come in January and beyond. Until then, enjoy the ride. There's a reason Rafa ended with "I wish the fans an enjoyable summer!" Relax, have fun, he's got this.

The first goal Some class play from Atsu in that first half as well. Really nice - definitely seems like Atsu has been playing for his future the last few weeks.

Seriously? Why the fuck didn't this exist this season?

Not sure if this is anywhere else, but this sounds legit and bad: http://www.spiegel.de/international/business/rape-allegations-against-real-madrid-star-ronaldo-it-has-to-be-less-a-1144878.html

They essentially have to win every remaining game. They are gone.

Two absolutely terrible rumors. Not even trying.

If he's backed sufficiently, he'll be here. I think it's simple as that. Ashley has gotten a lot of things wrong, but I'm confident that a) he understands what he has in Rafa and b) he knows we're heading right back down without investment. I'm not actually that worried about this summer in terms of Rafa getting what he wants. It's next January and beyond where this is likely to end badly at some point.

Newcastle United lose Judicial Review against HMRC

I do hope this extends far beyond us. Would greatly lessen the chances we are made an example of by the PL/FA. -

Like a new signing. Dying at this. -

Think they'll be quite let down at the moment that this is centered around Marseille too. Not as juicy as CRISIS ON TYNESIDE. -
Not at all, mainly because anything I watched was on shitty, illegal streams and there are way too many non-televised games. Also, after any setback this place was on suicide watch. The LC run was fun, the Brighton/Huddersfield week was fun, and yesterday was enjoyable. Beyond that, good riddance to the Championship and give me all 38 games in HD.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

This fucking place. -
You think Spurs are going to finish 5th or lower?

If we don't back Rafa he'll go and the presence of Gouff and Colback will be the least of our concerns. This is how I feel:

Someone voted 5. -
Agree 100%. Generally Man U only release players who are on their way down. How many can you remember who went on to have outstanding careers after leaving? Remains to be seen if this is still valid post SAF. Mourinho will certainly cast aside promising youngsters.

I think unless Hayden becomes a Kante-like player next season that midfield would get overrun on an almost weekly basis. I like Carrick and wouldn't be opposed to him coming here for leadership/experience, but we desperately need some dynamic/athletic players in the middle.

I'm all for the complaints about not signing anyone, but get a grip.

If this is true, then God know how low the first bid must have been. It was probably within 3 pence of the third bid.
