63 points in my draft league (no bonuses and no captains). Might not be topped all season.

I can only assume they were worried about the statue looking like a Nazi salute. Glad he has one though, obviously well deserved.

Best week of the season for me with De Bruyne, Firmino, and Antonio. Still have Lukaku to come.

Will he get more goals/assists than Schmeichel clean sheets + Lamela goals/assists? I'm thinking no, but my concern is will Lamela lose his regular place between CL and Sissoko's arrival?
-
Would you make this trade (draft league)? Me: Firmino Caballero Him: Lamela Schmeichel I picked Hart in the draft and that blew up and then someone topped my claim for Bravo so I currently have Heaton and Caballero.

Yup, i.e. like every other fucking transfer that's paid in installments. There's only two reasons that journo brought it up 1) he misunderstood and is stupid 2) he was trying to make Spurs look better. @afar - I'm fully on board with your point about disclosing transfer and contract data. Ridiculous how secretive it all is, but the sport of football is anti-transparency from top to bottom.
-
Without going back and looking I feel like Levy's reputation is pretty well earned when it comes to selling players, but he's no different than your average chairman when it comes to buying.
-
Even this doesn't make sense. Good to know the standard of British sports journalists is still at rock bottom.
-
This is the stupidest report I've ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if the club issues a statement to clarify as it makes us look bad.

I'd just rather we kept our best players, tbh. If Mike Ashley pocketing £30m gets you hard, fair play. His overall performance and contribution last season was s****, he vehemently doesn't want to be here, and he's taken a massive strop over not being able to leave which would instantly transfer to the dressing room and onto the pitch. I can't see why anyone would be unhappy about this transfer other than to be pointlessly contrary. As fans we get nothing out of this, man. If he'd stayed we'd be a better side. It's not tough to figure out. I'm not gutted. But there's nothing to celebrate here, at all. Your entire point is predicated on the fact that you expect he'd play the way he did at the end of the season or at the Euros (i.e. motivated). But there's absolutely nothing to suggest from his history that he would do that in the Championship on a weekly basis.

Don't think you get anything the first year do you? We got our PL money. Yep, parachute will be end of this season. Have it in my head that if you go straight back up you don't get anything anyway, might be wrong though. Pretty sure that's not true. Think we get a percentage of the PL rev share (something like 55%) in year one. If we go straight back up we're back on the PL gravy train. If we don't we have up to two more years of decreasing parachute payments. After that it's game over.

What is Chelsea's first choice CB pairing - Luiz/Cahill? Mainly asking for Fantasy PL purposes.

They'd be lucky to earn 1.5% interest. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-regular-savings-accounts#firstdirect 6% for 12 months on a maximum £300 a month deposit. That and it's not a company account.
-
People are complaining about being paid in installments now? Do we even know the interval of payments? It could be every 3 months, meaning we'd have 80% of it this time next year. Even if it's not, we might get £30M for a moody, inconsistent, want-away player who will never fulfill his true potential.
-
That's ridiculous. If he's a problem in the dressing room I would just send him home. Tell him he can play FIFA all day and collect his wages.

How does one watch this in America? I signed up for Fubo TV and it's not listed and then logged into Bein Connect with Fubo and it says no game on this channel.

I had a dream we were up 4-1 with 10 minutes to go and then the ESPN app froze. When it started working again it was full time and 8-1.

I've never seen him play but I'm excited about this and will be upset if it doesn't happen.

It's fucking hilarious how much Arsenal (Wenger?) hates spending money. They act like my mother-in-law trying to save pennies on a 2-for-1 chewing gum special.
