Agree 100%. Generally Man U only release players who are on their way down. How many can you remember who went on to have outstanding careers after leaving? Remains to be seen if this is still valid post SAF. Mourinho will certainly cast aside promising youngsters.

I think unless Hayden becomes a Kante-like player next season that midfield would get overrun on an almost weekly basis. I like Carrick and wouldn't be opposed to him coming here for leadership/experience, but we desperately need some dynamic/athletic players in the middle.

I'm all for the complaints about not signing anyone, but get a grip.
-
If this is true, then God know how low the first bid must have been. It was probably within 3 pence of the third bid.
-
Does sound shitty for him but I'm thinking Leicester did not plan on being near the relegation places and also they may have realized 4m is the equivalent of pennies right now.

£15m altogether with the prices the way they are right now is a steal, he's talented and perfect for Rafa's 4-2-3-1. I wouldn't say it's a steal but it would likely ensure promotion so it's certainly worth paying a bit of a premium to get it done.

I was certain BBC had the score backwards when I first saw it. Can't believe we lost 3-0.

Benitez is way above our station at the moment, but he's here because he believes we can go straight back up and fulfill the clubs potential. Hopefully he can convince players like Deulofeu of the same thing. Not the same thing in the slightest. It's not, but it should be an easier sell now with only half a season left and us positioned well than last summer. Not sure we're going to want to pay the fees required for anyone of his level.

Strange timing if true unless it had to do with end of calendar year accounting stuff.
-
I refuse to believe he's worse than Colback. He's probably worse at following instructions in training, which I imagine is where Colback is world class.
-
Agreed and he was really good under Koeman at Southampton.

I genuinely can't believe we won that. Didn't they have a goal kick (or the keeper had the ball) four minutes into added time?

Oh my God. Sorry, but

A seemingly simple starting point would be some transparency around transfer fees and wages. By transparency I mean publish relevant details from a transfer/contract on premierleague.com or theFA.com. All financial figure from transfers, contract renewals, etc. should have to be reported and shared with the media.

We should be laughing right now after a 3 or 4-0 win. Shocking finishing.
