  1. I just wish we were Carlsbergs first eleven then wouldn't need Kinnear
  2. used to play football with him when we were bairns in daisy hill, mam lives in walkergate but he has always been pro Man U probability is he will end up there.
  3. Geremi was receiving major grief from the leazes end following that pathetic corner,I wince every time he's involved with a dead ball situation no wonder Guthie took over following that corner.
  4. a lot of the rags are stating swaps for players yet Kinnear states he must sell to buy, Enrique for Garcia, Shorey for Charlie (it would appear he Shorey prefers Spurs) so why swap if JK wants wedge to buy probably more crap. I think we may well end up with what we've got until the end of the season, would that be a record for transfrers in a season meaning we've bought relativley nowt all season.
  5. should of won it, caroll doesn't appear to have it,Owen was AWOL second half Given will deffo be on way. Bassong wot a player along with Githirerez, thought Guthry MOM
  6. also happy with first half, thought we should of put away chances ,caroll cracking header, Owen, can't believe miss,Hull like picking up cards not too long before one of 'em goes off, thought Fagan had broke his leg again at first glance.
  7. well we're in blue and stadium don't look full
  8. explain... setanta showing Macclesfield v Everton delay at 7.30 on setanta 1 in place of B&W's fpr those with BT Vision or other VOD (video on demand ) it will also be shown on there at a l8tr time. Update, pitch at Macclesfield is beginning to freeze up so may revert back to Hull match
  9. Sultana deffo ditched us for Macclesfield monkeys 1-0 up against potters game will be available On Demand
  10. I think Joe will be provided with minimal funds and I'm wondering what his buys were like at previous clubs?. Then again because he has always been on a tight budget elsewhere perhaps that will be to our advantage seeing as the number of times managers who run teams on a shoestring the minute they get decent funds their buys are often poor. I believe we will ditch a few of the present mob and get in a few cheapies (bearing in mind prices will rocket for those at the bottom as they're the ones who need new inputs generally) to help us survive to the end of the season.
  11. For me taylor isn't upto it and keeps dropping everyone in it.Palm him off ASAP
  12. I would cash in and sell him, the same as I would of done if I was Fergusson with Ronaldo following last season goals tally (never to be repeated by him again) Harper would do okay for the remainder of this season and has been stated a couple of good keepers in the wings. I would of done the same with Shearer a couple of seasons ago, there's always another in line to takeover.
  13. only bright spark being we are not as much in the shit as we could of been following the boxing day fiasco and todays totally inept team effort. It would appear at least some of todays results went in our favour.
  14. High Probability tells me there isn't interest in the club , there is I believe a "high probability" that I may buy the club knowing full well there ain't a cat in hells chance.
  15. as long as the club ain't used for money laundering which is my main concern, wonder if Martins has had a few words with some of his fellow countrymen?
  16. have seen worse 13000 nr relegation to div3, some right knacker managers following Joe Harvey's demise, Westwood in charge with his pirates eye patch etc etc. At the mo it's still only in the early stages of the season with a long way to go,those above us are not exactly racing away and Ashley cannot afford to allow the club to be relegated (supposing we don't find a decent buyer) as the stock value will continue to fall,he is gonna have to make an executive decision bite the bullet, get rid of the hump and revive the club if only to save his investment.
  17. If someone pays that amount of cash for the club, they will want to recoup that money when they come to sell,so who in their right mind will pay that in todays market, as I'm thinking who will buy when they wish to sell should things go tits up/ relegation/bust.
  18. as previously stated the only thing that would prevent a sale is the price anything can be sold if all is right, maybe the accountants are working on a tax thingy to salt away his losses on other parts of his business with would balance the books.
  19. so would this of come out if the fans hadn't remonstrated somehow I think not, an option would of been to give the manager of the club to yes have a look at those offered and then make a sound choice but not to force onto a manager those he doesn't want. How many managers at your work get provided with employees and he/she really doesn't want them because they are sh*te and they know it, quite a few no difference with football.
  20. he'll get his dough back when he sells the club, as for some of the debts a very small portion was caused by present board Ashley included ditching Fat Sam and his hangers on therefore paying up contracts, etc etc
  21. I thought the banner was well supported by those in the ground with a lot clappinbg in agreement, Chairman didn't know where to put himself as for Close Eye's Wise and the rest nowhere to be seen. Thought the Cisco kid did well considering the circumstances.
  22. only way to hurt Ashley is hitting his pockets, whether he'll move on is open to question,he will be pigheaded and call the fans bluff, as for Clarence and the rest of the lions they won't go till Ashley goes.
  23. no such thing as bad publicity seeing as we've blown Man City and Man Utd off the sports pages with an embarrassing story created by the media, yeah something happened, we don't what but the result is massive coverage for the Black & Whites, how much would it of cost for that kind of self promotion ( for want of a better word).
