I actually hate ashley and lamb now. I am a nice person and I would feel like going for them if I ever seen them. I can't see how they have not been ambushed! There must be so many thousands of fans out there more "nasty" than me who would go for them!? Must be like dodging bullets for them

Sounds great but think we might be building our hopes up here. How much are they worth? What sort of funds would they have available?

If every one of our first team players left tomorrow what would our best team be? So out of the reserve and youth squads what would be our starting lineup?

Some people dont realise that it could be we HAVE to get rid of these players due to wages. I would love to keep him. First we should get rid of the likes of Owen, Vikuda, Geremi, Butt etc and hope thats enough to keep hold of our young lads such as Bassong and Enrique. It could be that Beye, Enrique etc are made to leave which would be a shame!!

It was frustration which I can understand. Anyway if he had won the ball then it would of been a great challange. I wouldn't say it was intentional. If it was anyone else nothing would be said now - people just cant get over what hes done in the past. It doesnt bother me at all to be honest

I wish the other players showed the passion Barton does. If he stays next season then I will be a lot happier.

Isnt it a bit of a worry thought Sunderland have a better youth and reserve team? Do they play a really young reservce team like we do?

Biggest mistake Ashley has made is not employing a class manager. But then again maybe he tried and no one wanted it?? If we survive we need someone to sit down with people like Bassong and re-assure them we are going places. I can imagine Keegan doing that but can you imagine Kinnear sitting him down telling him we are going places? NO

If we do stay up it will force Ashley to spend big money and I really think we will go places ( aslong as we get a new manager ) I cant see this happening though I think we are doomed and will miss out on this opportunity to turn the club around which will make it even worse. I remember when Leeds went they lost about 6 or 8 big players. If we go down it would be more like loosing 10/15 big players. Surely that just cant be alowed happen??

Its an absolute disgrace that we have to sell before we buy but if we do then we need to get rid of Given, Owen & Zog and bring in Bassong like players in the positions we need. We shouldn't have to sell anyone and I dont want to loose any but these are the only players we can get enough money to actually improve our squad. Sad times
