Willock is a funny one for me. I like him, think he's decent for us, a fairly steady performer if you like. I just struggle with his identity within the team. He's not our box to boxer, he's not our attacking threat/creative player and he's not our blocker, he's not a winger either. He's just like there going about his shit. I don't think he'll ever be like a dominant force for us, but likewise he's not an issue for us either. Perhaps, I guess, in this regard he's exactly what we need at present. Stability and a platform to build upon. Hopefully, over time and coaching he comes out his shell.

Anyone else have the feeling both sets of fans/clubs in this Villa game are concerned about safety? Atmosphere was canny subdued 'til the 60th minute and at theel end they seemed so desperate like. Both on the pitch and after. Think reality is maybe setting in about their managers like. Lampard is a chancer with friends in the media and football and Gerrard is very much learning I feel. He'd do the job defensively. I think the main reason he is less likely to play under Howe is because he's less reliable on the ball.

Dummett is canny solid defensively and canny quick, when managed correctly.
