  1. It's a good idea we've been discussing similar recently and one of the lads has drafted some slightly more generic designs. However, the idea of raising them as the players are named is a good idea that hasn't yet been discussed, I'll feed that back, thanks.
  2. I love that Trippier sends all other players away so he can talk to the ref', it's great leadership, one of the best captains I've seen for us I reckon. Howe also rises above the shit decisions too. It's professional and respectable and admirable. However... I don't know if you have to be a bit of a bastard nowadays to put pressure on those officiating like. Like will we hit a limit because we aren't applying enough pressure to get the decisions. Hard one. I think morally I'd prefer the former but realistically won't complain if we're the latter
  3. Apologies, I was a bit volatile after 10 brown ales too.
  4. Thanks for the support folk, as always Happy to recieve feedback on taste/artwork etc.
  5. Thought that was the crack, haha. Got one sorted already but have dropped this in the group incase we're thinking of a second. Thanks

  7. The idea behind it is to give fans something to enjoy as they donate - more for their money I guess. Hopefully it enable us to go bigger and better and insoire more wins too.
  8. Little bit apprehensive about the beer. It's new territory for us a bit. Tastes good though just not sure what the take up will be like or if people think it's a bit gimmicky.
  9. I'm not happy with or ready for sensible, reasoned responses so fucking pack it in you arseholes. That's for tomorrow. let us rage.
  10. Nothing short of a fucking disgrace that. It's not his style but I'd love Eddie Howe to come out and challenge that. It feels like a good time / the right time to do so. I don't think he will and perhaps that's why Eddie might be the man to go further than others for us, grounding us, etc. But right now, I want that calling out as I'm fucking raging. Klopp was in the ear of those officiating all game - they knew they couldn't overcome our intensity first half. Granted there was some tactical time wasting throughout the game but into injury time there certainly wasn't that amount of injury time to be had. That combined with an iffy offside just leaves me with a bittwr taste in my mouth when rrally we should be celebrating an excellent, undefeated opening to the season getting 7 points from arguably 4 of our toughest fixtures. This has to be used though as a burning fire that powers us through the next 4 or 5 games. Aim for maximum points. Upset the apple cart. Fuck lot of them. NUWNBD
  11. Not who I was thinking of but, aye, I guess I have let myself go a tad.
  12. I wasn't and nor do I have brothers, other than the one who starred in the goonies.
  13. I guess the argument is that it's easier to run on to it because naturally your head will be over the ball and keep you over it so to stop it skyrocketing. Standing would be hard, like Shearer's vs Everton. Still cannot knock it though.
  14. Aye, I remember years ago having an argument with a group of lads in the Strawberry cause Shola tried similar and tbf the ball went even higher and he completely fucked it. They were screaming about how shit he was etc. And I was just like "here mate have you ever tried to volley a baal like that man you're talking utter shite." It's an incredibly difficult thing to do, for timing, balance, control etc. Etc. and despite the number of good goals this weekend it's got to be up there for goal of the month and of the season.
  15. I tweeted about this earlier... From our first 5 I expected around 5 points - draws at Wolves and Brighton with a win vs Forest. Losses at Liverpool and against Man City. As it happens we're 1 point better off with 1 to go. From the 5 that follow Liverpool, I'd be aiming for 13 (as high as that sounds). We're more than capable of winning all those games but West Ham (a) I'd be happy for a point. That'd put us on 19 after 10 games, on course for safety in the earlier stages of the season (prior to FA Cup involvement) and on track to hopefully finish top 10 (and potentially Europe). For me we need to be aiming to hit 40pts ASAP depsite not really being at any risk of going down. It enables us to attack the cups, and for me we should be doing that as it's a fairly achievable goal to get to a semi final or final with a team of our calibre. Liverpool, even moreso than City is now a free hit for me. If we knick something there then our confidence could sky rocket and Palace will not be wanting to come to SJP either way...
  16. Happy for him to sit out vs Liverpool if it means we're at full strength for the games vs Palace and onwards.
  17. Having been critical of him previously, I'm pleased to say he has improved primarily in his decision making, if he continues to listen and improve the output of his game i. e. Goals and assists he could become a bit of a beast like. Undoubtedly a talented player, just needs to forget his own hype a little bit at the right times and use it at others. When he's on song he has our fanbase on the edge of their seats like.
