He certainly far from the biggest game changer, or a game changer at all considering he hasn't done that once for us. I'm sorry like but that's bull. Of the players we have left he is the one who you could put him in against any other side and he could give them a game (if he turned up). I'm of the opinion that lots of fans only see what they want to see because they decide whether they like players or managers and that's wrong. You have to see each game for what it is and each attribute for what it is. That's not to say you cannot claim someone is shit or out their depth, for example Colback for me is out his depth in CM and his constant mediocre to poor performances support that. Sissoko played excellent at the back end of last season when he wanted to be in a shop window, wanted to play for France and was made captain. I cannot stand the twat but I have to give him credit where it's due. He's a quality athlete with average to good footballing ability and that's what makes him a relative success on his day or when he chooses. Because of his physical attributes he can be unplayable at times. The problem he has is that he's an egotistical prick, who's probably been sold a lie by Ashley and Co. Until Rafa arrived and now his agent wants his next pay day and Moussa is being fed the now or never shit to make him wanna jump ship. Moussa has proven he can play at a high level but he simply hasn't done it consistantly enough. Hence the lack of bids.

It's hilarious listening to them at work like. They're doing whatever they can to convince themselves they're gonna be alright but they just know deep down they're likely to come crashing down

TBF he's no worse than Shelvey or Colback for our CM options. Wouldn't be too worried if he was still here come midnight. So long as he isn't an issue in the changing rooms

He'll get game time like. He's an asset - whether you consider him one from a footballing or financial point of view is irrelevant. I don't like the spineless t*** but you have to concede he's arguably are biggest game changer on his day

Don't think it really matters what happens here. If he stays we have a Premiership quality player on our book for a few months who will play half the games and provide rest bite for our other midfielders, whilst tearing up the league (if he chooses too). If he goes we have money in the bank to strengthen should we need to for the championship or if not for the premiership once we win promotion. Let's face it, this squad might have enough to see off the championship but it's going to require a small overhaul should we wish to consolidate our position in the Premiership again. We just have to hope Sissoko doesn't cause issues in the changing room should he stay. From what little I've seen and heard Rafa doesn't seem to think that's an issue. If he believes that, that's good enough for me.

Home to wolves?

Liverpool (a) it will be I reckon

Discovery Shed. You're a devious little tyrant from unsavoury lands.
-
Moussa is kind of a "meh" subject now
-
I reckon he is fully aware, he just needs more alternatives before he can be phased out. Now is a good time to give Colback game time whilst we're still playing some dross

Sounds like the Shelvey I've watched in a Newcastle shirt since his arrival. Loads of talent when he's given time and space, in between invisible. I find both Colback and Shelvey highly frustrating. Shelvey goes missing when the tough gets going. Colback doesn't hide but doesn't stick his neck out with anything innovative or creative. Put them both together and you'd probably have a decent all-rounder. Unfortunately, they're two halves, and two halves that wouldn't make my first 11 in an ideal world. I think they both just lack in gas and pace so if they come up against opponents with those abilities they are f***ed. This is professional football, you can get amateurs who can run you down if you don't possess either. Aye, neither have the athleticism like. I agree there too.

I suspect he picked the ball up from the back four all game and sprayed it about when he had the opportunity to. Occassionally accelerating to jogging pace whilst looking permanently vacant without the ball. Had little effect but played a tidy game. That's Shelvey. Just like Colback would have played crab football with the occasional backward pass thrown in the mix. He'll have ran about and picked the ball up from the defenders before playing short successive 5-10 yard balls of no relevance before inevitably miscontrolling or misplacing said pass resulting in a foul being given away... I too have a feeling we might get the 6 fingered, unwashed plug snails next like...

That's got to be one of the longest shootouts of all time?

 Insane.

Meh...it was a few stepovers. Perez's movement was more pleasing on the eye.

Oh and Millwall
-
Luton are hideous.
-
Probably more like a £12.5million player but I'll take it like.

Perez hat-trick on the 60th minute.
