Likewise. He was a 6 out of 10 instead of a 5.

Fancy Liverpool and Stoke wins today.

I rate him too, but can't help thinking rating a striker who needs to be "more clinical with his finishing", is a bit like rating a surgeon (great bedside manner, and clearly knows his stuff, advises the rest of the team wonderfully!) who needs to be a bit more accurate with his cutting. Not really. Football isn't a matter of life and death.. Aye, I agree. To be a great striker you need to be scoring goals, that is your main job after all. Think he's doing fantastically well as a target man for now though. We aren't playing to his goalscoring strengths with our narrow play like, but ultimately he should be doing better with the chances he's had.

al pards is mint. what do fans expect? 8th or 9th is about right for nufc. ben arfa is scum. or something similar. Ah, so basically he was a fat Pardew?
-
What comments did he make / did he do to make him so unliked? Been one of our best players this season.
-
I rate this kid like. Just needs to be more clinical with his finishing.

Aye but we're hoping this lad can actually play in central midfield! Cool. We can play 5 CM's now and 3 CB's
-
Is he another CM?

Just done it. I'm not on here much though so probably loads of naff votes.

Any idea what the fee is supposed to be?

It'll placate some of the morons with season tickets too. Aye
-
Have a funny feeling they'll be itching to get this through before Tuesday too so they can reveal him before our game and placate some of the day-trippers.

What a lazy shit.

Don't disagree with your structural point. But imo if we had a proper goal scorer up front such as Ba (as he was) or Remy the whole thing racks up a notch. So chances become goals and half chances become chances - if you see what I mean Cisse's goals arguably kept us up last season. Similar to what you're saying I guess.

Spot on. So much s*** going on behind the strikers its impossible for them to flourish. We become harder to beat those chances become less important and confidence will start to grow. There's enough talent in Mitrovic and Perez for us to tap in to, there's f*** all in the centre, nowt at LB that is fit enough to make it on to the pitch and only one worthwhile option at CB. Aye, I agree with most of this. For me left and right midfield is key. Provided more cover for the full backs thus making us harder to break down and beat and it also makes more competition across the whole midfield rather than having 2 misplaced CM's on the wings and 2 CM's with the technical and / or physical inability at CM. We don't make that many chances so when we miss them as we have been we know we're fucked. Stop leaking so many shit goals and all of sudden more chances will be created and confidence will grow.

Progress is progress... Getting Shelvey will change virtually nowt though. Just a bit more physical than the current two. Probably more like Anita but with more physicality. Colback would have to be dropped for me but you just know it would be Anita.
-
I cannot understand why Swansea would want to sell someone to their relegation rivals unless they believed he was shite, to be honest.
-
Aye, more than likely. Moussa's agent will be like a fly round shit atm scraping around the barrel for moves before the Euros
-
Decent enough player but for me Sissoko and Wijnaldum should be pushed inside and two wingers should be bought. Create some competition across the whole midfield and not just proceed with the same old shit that clearly doesn't work i.e. Wijnaldum and Sissoko wide, and two physically incompetent midfielders.
