Watching his interviews and reactions today I was chuffed to bits for him. He seemed overwhelmed when his name was being sang and genuinely proud of being a part of Newcastle United. I'd like to think this recognition continues until at least the end of the season.

no it's not. It's another Charva trend, like the shoes off s****. Not really - pitch invasions have been happening for years. Whilst the majority of people who do it these days are likely to be charvas I don't think you can tar all pitch invaders with that same horrible brush. I bet if when we win promotion or whatever, if thousands of people ran on the pitch people would talk about it in 10/15 years and about how good the experience was, so the people saying it's pathetic and horrible will eventually be proven hypocrits in my opinion.

I'd agree with all of them. Clem is so fucking annoying I'd love to punch him in the head until his eyes popped out. I'll miss 'proper' football to be honest. This is a hard tackling league with attacking football being played. The thing I'll not miss about it though is the shit standard. I love the integration of most fans also - a lot of fans I've spoke to genuinely seem to appreciate and like our support and believe we are 'proper' fans. There's only the odd one or two who are bitter about us, compared to the Premiership where it's full of wankers who hate us because we have a significantly better support than them as well as stadium and more money. I'll be glad to escape Steve Claridge and the feeling of being in a shite league. But I'll miss the success.
