  1. A meeting may not be necessary, but we need to get these ideas channeled, collectively...
  2. If you are interested in this...it would probably be more appropriate for an Admin' member, or someone who is a popular/well respected member to come in the end. Just getting ideas about who would be interested. It is better if we all do something collective than in seperate groups. Anyways, If you're interested...especially an Admin'/Mod' then just pop your name down. We'll try and get something sorted. I have posted this as a representative of TU, just to try and get the ball rolling, it isn't solely my idea or me running it. Like I say...just trying to get something organised.

Before anything was confirmed? How many times have you seen the sacking of a manager dragged out like this one today? I bet not many times. It was merely rumours, and whether or not the remainder of it was true remains to be seen but after all the shit put across the footballing media why the fuck should we have believed this one? The charva mongoloids who were in the majority at the ground were only there for something to do instead of sitting in a field smoking the tac they earned from there dole money. No doubt there would have been some passionate fans there who do go week in week out, to them I don't fault them. I just think it's a little bit fickle. We're going to be made a laughing stock tomorrow...even more so. Simply for the fact everything will be exaggerated and they will pick out the most embarassing things they can.
  4. For some reason I think today has knocked my thoughts on Keegan....not much mind because I don't really know what exactly has gone on. Keegan will leave when the money isn't there....or that's what I seem to have gained from today....

I have said all day wait until the club say something...and I tried to avoid the story but it infruriated me so much when they showed the charva mongs on Setanta and Sky I ahd to write an e-mail. I'm sick of sitting back thinking it wont matter what I say. W eall do it, we sit and think meh cannot be arsed with sending a letter/e-mail it wont change owt but if we all did it would change something.

Just thought it was about time we had a different point of view about it all other than the predictable!

.... Dear Sky Sports, I am writing to you about the Keegan saga today. Ever since Ashley took over, and ever since Keegan was in charge, we have heard constant rumours and speculation about who has been being bought, who has been buying them (Wise/Jiminez, Ashley or Keegan) and who has fallen out with who. These rumours, developed by the tabloids, were merely produced to generate some sort of controversy within our club. A club I am extremely passionate about. At the time of this e-mail, there had been no official confirmation made by the club of Keegan leaving. There has been footage of the fans outside St James’ chanting “Ashley Out!” and although I am a firm believer in everyone being entitled to their own opinions I think a lot of these people need to stop and think before they act. It’s amazing how half of these won’t even go to the match, they won’t make or take flags and banners to the match, but as soon as a rumour gathers pace they can run out and make banners about current events and shout mindless chants. Where are a lot of these on a match day? I’m not going to deny, that I’m extremely disheartened and annoyed about events today....but what has happened? Nothing has happened as far as the club is concerned...but the reaction is what is more worrying. No wonder we get called fickle. This is typical, the media (especially the tabloids) will be loving this. Exactly what they love! Newcastle to be ridiculed and mocked to be those “thick, mindless Geordies from the North”. So, tomorrow our big club will dominate the headlines for the wrong reasons again....possibly for more lies and speculation...depending on whether or not the club confirm anything. Not much change there is there? I am sick to death of the constant tabloid nonsense that comes out. It’s about time someone took a stand for us lot. We don’t want violins, but if the press and media can’t get away with Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal, etc, etc being ridiculed, then why should we? A perfect example was a number of papers last week reporting our poor attendance. When we still had one o the highest in the league last weekend and Bolton brought about 20% of what they could have brought. Anyways, back to the Keegan issue... I think people need to stop and think before they act! The same people who are saying Wise and Jimenez are making our signings, are the same people who are saying they would throw their tickets in if Wise was in charge. Why? He has obviously made some fabulous signings! At the end of the day until official confirmation is made, then nothing is true as far as I’m concerned. I’m sick of us being made a laughing stock! WE ARE NEWCASTLE UNITED, I THINK IT’S ABOUT TIME WE UNITE!!
  9. Few cans for me when I get in. The whole is it true is it not true is killing me! SkySources say he has left...that's SkySources. Their sources could be tabloids or anyone. Until the club actually say it i'm not going to believe it...which is actually more painful than him leaving. Wish they would just let us fucking know.
  10. I cannot see the logic in him leaving. He has got off to a great start of the season and just signed another two players. I really don't get it. How true is this either? They should come out and tell us as a club exactly what's going on. I cannot help but sit and feel really depressed at work.
  11. Looks like a scene out of a film, bottom right corner laughing, and mido pulling a face to make the coppers sprint away from him. Fahrenheit 9/11 or something? He's got a bomb y'know.

I found this astonishing also. I have mentioned it to a number of people but no-one seems fussed. Inbred M*ckem bastards.

    Aaron Lennon

Alan Shearer 9, Tottenham and Arsenal are not United's mate.
  14. Never mind Owen. I love your clip of Ashley necking that lager. Legend.
  15. Like others have said it keeps him fresh for us. Anyways....I personally think England need a bit of a shake up. We need to get a team out and not 11 individuals. Not that I would drop Owen like. However, I think new players should be given a chance.

    Aaron Lennon

At the end of the day he's no worse than Milner. So if you can sign him for a lesser amount you have made a profit....if nothing else. It also provides a bit more cover for the right flank. I'm not saying he'd be my ideal signing, but he's no worse than Milner so if we get him at a reasonable price as a short-term option I certaintly wouldn't complain.

    Aaron Lennon

I didn't say we should spend that amount. If you read it properly I say I think we could get him for £12million or less. I.e. less than what we got for Milner. Also, Milner never had an end product either. At least Lennon has a bit of pace which may frighten defenders.

    Aaron Lennon

I have a sneaking suspicion we may sign this fella. With Milner going, and Lennon appearing to be struggling to get into the Tottenham team, I reckon we may just go for him. I also think he may prove to be an ideal addition to our squad. He has amazing pace which will frighten defences, and because of this you could play him on the left if you had too. I reckon we could probably get him for £12million or less also. I don't think he's any worse than Milner either, maybe for his tackling or something but that's about it. What do you's reckon?

Oops Aye. Too rights. Milner doesn't count.

    Jose Enrique

I really don't know what our strongest back four or midfield is anymore. It's up front where we kind of have problems. But even then we have midfielders who can fit in and do a job..... I'm a big fan of Enrique, I just don't know who is the best back four atm.
  21. I have never, ever pushed anyone down the stairs :flounce: That is a load of bollocks i'm sure. No I really haven't Aye....right. Unless you meant No you really haven't any bollocks? In that case you would be right. Comedy genius Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit btw.

For once I think the players seem to be enjoying their football too. Every now and then you would see them smiling and/or joking with the ref'/linesmen, and they never seem to argue amongst each other anymore or owt so.....

Amen. You score 2, we'll score 3. Players who actually want to play for each other and for the club. Makes a world of difference!!! One thing I realised in the last few games is we have no-one who really argues and argues with the ref' anymore, and it's really good. Just seeing people get on with it. There's a great team spirit and a great thing going on here at Newcastle, I just hope it lasts and we can get one or two more lads in to bolster our squad. E-I-E-I-E-I-O..... 3 games in, I don't think a single player has been booked! Taylor for hanball is the only one I think. Smith has hardly played...we'll give it some more time eh..... Still a great record to have. If we can't get into Europe via cup glory or league finishes at least we might get in via fair play. It's based on a lot more than red and yellow cards. Ah well, at least it contributes.
