If people want to challenge this theory because it's been put on an open forum then that is also up to them.

Because he has built a team out of a group of individuals, and because moving on would be breaking something that doesn't need fixed. Not only that but this is his chance to prove himself in the Premier' and his best chance of survival and proving himself is with this team of individuals plus maybe two or three more. Even if Hughton is a puppet he's the best man to manage us at this moment in time.

I'm pretty certain you have supported Newcastle a lot longer and through more shite than me as I'm only 20 - but surely being a supporter means you shouldn't care what our chances of staying up are you will 'support' them nevertheless. Still can't believe he could sit at that Ipswich game in a full stadium and not realise what he potentially had on his hands if he invested some proper money over and above covering the running costs. Only read the OP and whilst I can agree with the sentiments - to me that's like saying we shouldn't be proud of being British, because essentially we're just a bunch of Roman, Viking, Anglo-Saxon Normans (probably without mentioning others) and all in all being British is being nothing of our own right and simply nothing but the left overs and scraps of numerous empires from all across Europe. Furthermore, this would also mean we probably shouldnt really be proud of being from Newcastle or Northumbria because we're not all truelly from here, and just to be a cock maybe we should all support African countries because we're probably all from there if you go back far enough. We're British, and we're English, and we have a proud history. A one many hav fought and died for - and despite our footballing nation being represented by 'London FC' which I agree with, we have a right to make it our own and be proud of it. If we celebrated St Georges Day like it should be, maybe this slightly more cringeworthy World Cup Hype wouldn't occur as much, and what's different from us and the rest of the world? World Cup fever for as long as I can remember is something which grips and unites the world with one common happiness, and that's what's special about it. Couldn't work out what was going on in those scuffles. The bald guy did fly though... Was odd that it happened when it did though because it all seemed to have quietened down when the punches flew. Was good to see the QPR guy in the brown jumper get escorted out. WAsn't sure what happened witht hat fight like, i was in the bottom tier on that side - and it seemed very unclear what had happened. The bloke next to me reckons the Toon fan was mocking them in their end after they scored the offside goal (as all our fans did) then it looked like just the one argued with him before 2 or 3 started swinging for him whenn it properly kicked off. I thought the baldy bloke was a QPR fan who swung and missed, resulting in him flying five rows. i could be wrong though! The stewards lloved our support though, as did the majority of their fans - they were constantly taking pictures and videos.

Rockin' all over the world to the QPR steward was hilarious.
