We dont need him and he's not good enough anymore. Enrique is a younger better version of him anyway if his shot last night is anything to go by.
-
I hate that being spouted out as a excuse to let them go, just look at the way Keegan handled N'Zogbia, he wanted to leave in january but at least turned his head to getting another 15-20 games out of him. We all know that Solano loved the club and the City, you cant tell me he couldnt have been talked into staying until january at least, that player alone could have been the diffrence between where we are and being 6-7 points better off
-
what would the reaction have been like if Owen had made such a fuss in being subbed...
-
Even joked about not daring to sub him again. He told the BBC he could have martins as he was taller than him..
-
Think its safe to say it wont be 0-0
-
Keegan said he was involved in wise's, but that ment nothing..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/7300255.stm Strange how theres been next to nothing made of this, unlike when we got Wise....do the press not have it in for west ham??

I go on holiday the day after the Everton game, should it come down to the last game iam either gonna go away and have a great holiday or a depressing one, Walinho will save us though iam sure. -
i seem to remember a patch of games around xmas time where they got off with 2-3 handballs in the box per game

Where were we and what results did you give us? i think Arsenal will come 3rd after doing the predictor with Chelsea 2nd -
i didnt see anything at all in SA time to show that we would have went to places like Arsenal,Villa,Liverpool and picked up points, he maybe would have got a point maybe 2 more max imo.
-
i dont think we will spend huge, Ashley was at liverpool last week and said next season we were going to aim for the top 8 which to me would take 20-30million ontop of funds from sold players..
-
if we went down would people see him as a good player to have in our side in the championship?
-
Nobby wanted to leave. So does N'Zogbia, Diffrence is we now have a manager that will try and do something about it and try and keep them, ud think sam would look at the stats and see that solano was a big player for us and TRY and keep him till january at least, but he chose to roll over and let him go.
-
He's obsessed with stats but only when they go in his favor, he misses the stats that Smith aint scored/created anything in years yet spent 6m on him, Barton spends more time in the police station yet spend 6m on him, let players that could win us games leave(iam sure theres a good stat on how many points solano has won us somewere) that derby took more points off us than any other club, that if it wasnt for last min winners in 3 games we would have been a couple of points max above derby...we could go on and make a huge list..
-
would hardly be impossible to guess, the way its wrote its not got the fixtures the right way, Liverpool v Arsenal Not Arsenal v Liverpool..not that you could write it of as a fix just based on that, also ive never seen any bookies taking bets on a draw before so wouldnt be unusual for them not to take it, if you had solid info like that you would be backing Chelsea large to win the CL on somewere like betfair then laying it off after they beat Fenerbace.

Oh sorry! I didn't realise you were on the board of Gretna and were party to their long term financial plans. Having said that, I suppose NUFC would be in the same boat if Ashley was suddenly struck down by a life threatening illness. Quite worrying that, still I'm sure we will get a lot of sympathy from the Gretna fans after the concern we have shown for their plight. i think the dislike of them from other Scottish clubs fans is that when other clubs came up with below standard stadiums they were given Grants/loans? to renovate them and were made to do it as soon as the season in the premiership started, however Gretna didn't and used a lot of that cash for players etc and never spent anything on the stadium as they were near enough down from day one. Its a shame for the owner as seems a good guy, and there true fans however id seriusly doubt there was more than a mini bus full of people that would be gutted if they closed the doors forever.

How liverpool fans can say we dont give people a chance is a joke, It wasnt working with Sam and we could all see that. I dont see you giving Gillett and Hicks a chance or a few years to turn things around..

I picked them to go down as well. They have a poor squad, and with the pressure of relegation I can see some of their earlier spark fizzling out. would be nice for them to go down but think it will be Bolton and Fulham -
Think Liverpool will go through, just with the 2nd leg being at anfield, Man Utd v Liverpool would be a good final if somehow neither team won the cup

Egg-feckin-zactly. We're shite, but Sunderland are "summink else!" the point is i gave us awful results and other teams better than expected and we only went down on goal diffrence, so id say its quite likely we stay up...unless we dont win again this season. -
Was dissapionted to see you go out have enjoyed watching everton in europe, mind it was a nightmare flicking between 5 and ITV4 when the shootout was on. We really could do with Bolton somehow getting through tonite, the more games/distractions from the league they have the better. first sentence is a joke, right? Have not seen much of Everton in the League but have enjoyed all the games ive seen them play in europe, stacks of goals and plenty of action.
-
Even if they played at home infront of crowds of 2,000 how would they pay off millions of pounds of debt? It's ridiculous the way the club has been run and they'll be dead before the weekend. The fans don't seem to care, I haven't heard a single one pipe up about this. Queen of the south is just a few miles away, i know a few Gretna fans who have jumped ship to them already..
