No but being articulate does at least suggest there's some brain activity going on. I also once saw an interview in which he explained Chebotarev's density theorem.

I think you can just tell through his interviewes that he's a fairly intelligent guy. He's probably one of the most articulate players going, although that's not saying an awful lot.

he did play well today and I do appreciate the effort he's put in whilst he's been here. I just hope he's a little bit further down the pecking order next season, after we've signed our two world class strikers.

I don't think we should be signing strikers on the basis that they're better than Lovenkrands. There has to be a vast improvement in our strikeforce next season.

Very exciting season. There've been so many memorable games, 6-0 v Villa, 5-1 v Mackems, 5-0 v WHAM, 4-4 v Arsenal. Even games like today's, whilst ultimately pretty disappointing will live long in the memory. Singing Ben Arfa and Tiote, Hughton leaving, Carroll going for £35m... it's hard to put into words just how much of a rollercoaster this season has been. Never a dull moment. And overall I am pleased with how the team performed. Onwards and upwards!
