  1. In the nicest way possible, I hope that he is in Tunisia for an 'honest' reason.

It was two years ago this week he went AWOL in 'Tunisia' - we all know what happened next...

  2. This is the best possible news, no more friends in high places for Mr Bruce to hide behind now. I will be amazed if Bruce is not sacked this week.

Quinn will leave with the legacy of being the best Chairman the club has ever had and took us from our worst season in history to becoming an established Premier League club, thanks for everything big fella.

I don't want your thanks, you makem bastard.

  3. No, be fun wouldnt it. Yeah.

Seriously though why couldn't he start on the right? Just cutting inside as opposed to breezing down the wing and crossing with his right, just cut in and score a 35 yarder with his left, like every game.

He isn't really known for his shooting from long distance...

 but do you get my point about the cutting in though? Couldn't hurt to try? I admit I've never seen him play ever except for us so I have no idea.

Yeah. I'd rather see him given a chance on the right than watch Obertan play week-in-week-out.

  5. Pretty risky to move a player winning games for you on the left to the right to accomodate someone new coming in & Pardew wont do it due to that. Marvs scored goals from the right before, just start him that side. Still prob hold a starting place down, he looks very talented.

have you ever seen him play on the right?

  6. I think Pardew will have input to the policy but overall Ashley will have more faith in Graham Carr. Ashley knows very well from his retail success that an excellent buyer makes or breaks a retail company and will have taken that belief into NUFC.

I think you will get the odd deal like Ba which was probably a Pardew deal due to his contacts at West Ham, but on the whole Pardew will give his input and Carr will draw up a list of several candidates who fit that position. The "committee" will then pick the main target based on various criteria.

Tbh I thought Pardew had already spoken about how this works.

Alright mate, how's it going? Have a good weekend, aye?

Just wondering if any 'limited' players have impressed you recently?

     Such a tosser.

  7. If I was Ben Arfa I would rage if Best was starting ahead of me for more than 2-3 games due to me coming back. There is absolutely no way in hell Pardew shall let Ben Arfa sit on the bench if he's completely fit according to team doctors.

I expect better players to get better treament in terms of playing time and so on. You don't make a player sit on the bench if he's capable of winning you games with a second of brilliance.

Best has won more games for us (this year) than anyone else has.

  8. Yesterday, during his press conference, some journalists asked Laurent Blanc if he thought about Mexes (who just come back from injury) before making his list for the two next France matches.

He said no of course and added that he also follows very closely Hatem Ben Arfa return.

HBA came off the bench (replacing Insomnia) and scored in Blanc's first match as manager - must have made an impression. Could be wrong, but wasn't HBA sitting next to Cabaye?

Didn't Blanc also show some interest in HBA in his time as Bordeaux manager?
