    Rangers Newco

Sure, just like any other team. Is the problem that Celtic/Rangers are Scottish? What about Swansea and Cardiff, they are Welsh. I agree they should fuck off as well

Sir Ricky on form again Re: Media dicks touting MON for Liverpool There was no doubt in my mind that the magedia would try and link MON to other clubs this summer. People need to understand. We are at war. War; with people who want to destroy our club and way of life. let me say one thing, just one thing. Unless our club gets serious with those who hate us, SAFC will not be in existannce in 2020

The man who single-handedly united Liverpool Football Club and the city of Liverpool after its darkest day in 1989. TBH LFC died back then - today is just like the gravestone being kicked over"

  8. If we win this one to we're going to have to raise money and fly OldType out from South Korea everytime we need a win. Could get expensive. Fuk that, I've got a spare room he can stay in. Unleash him on match days. Perfect snatch him after the game and tie him to a radiator in TTs spare room till next season
  9. Aye, hope it'll be decent. Struggle to believe the sculptor has an artistic bone in his body mind, he's done some fucking awful stuff. Thought the Milburn statue was not bad http://www.tommaley.com/images/01_jackie250.jpg

    James Perch

Was looking the other day. Want us to get into the Champions League with him. Re: Papiss Cisse's goal against Chelsea hope spurs and tomato face fuck off so Perch can play in the CL Newcastle lose 4-0 to Wigan and Perch doesn't play a minute. Newcastle make one change to their side and bring in Perch against Chelsea and win 2-0. He is a quality player and deserves to go to the Euros.
  12. Thursday, 3 May 2012 Liverpool crest Liverpool have reported a loss of almost £50million for the last financial year as a result of failed new stadium costs and pay-offs to former manager Roy Hodgson and other staff. Despite owners Fenway Sports Group wiping out debts of £200m with their October 2010 purchase of the club, they had to write off a further £35m associated with the doomed HKS-designed Stanley Park project of predecessors Tom Hicks and George Gillett. And Hodgson's exit in January 2011, after just 191 days in charge, and the departure of former managing director Christian Purslow, contributed to a further £8.4m relating to contract terminations, accounts filed to Companies House show. Current managing director Ian Ayre insists the accounts, without that "extraordinary" expenditure, are in good shape. "I guess people will focus on the loss of £49.4m and there's no business - or people running any business - who are going to be pleased with any loss," he told the Liverpool Echo. "But I think the important indicator here is this £59m charge for exceptional items and as a business that's been in a transition, it's about moving from where we were to where we want to be. "We have written off a huge amount on the stadium project. A big chunk of that £50m loss relates to the HKS project - which is now defunct - and associated costs around that." On the accounts as a whole Ayre said they were in better shape long-term as a result of the action taken by the owners. The figures do not include the kit deal signed with American company Warrior Sports, which is worth at least £25million a year. "If we had not written off these extraordinary costs, we would have been looking at breaking even," Ayre said. "We have reduced interest charges from £18m to about £3m. That puts us in a much stronger position to utilise our revenues more effectively on the team. These figures in many ways represent the commitment of the owners, in paying down the acquisition debts and in other areas." 13. Anybody hear John Gibson on Total Sport tonight? Talking about the 1968 season, the year before we won the Fairs Cup obviously. Going into the last game Man City and Man Utd level on points at the top. Man City beat us at St James and Sunderland beat Man U. Canny coincidence but would take that if we won the Europa next year.

    Harry Redknapp

Spurs boss reveals he could have signed Sunderland and Newcastle stars http://www.london24.com/sport/tottenham/spurs_boss_reveals_he_could_have_signed_sunderland_and_newcastle_stars_1_1346764 Harry Redknapp has revealed that Spurs could have signed Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon and Newcastle’s Hatem Ben Arfa. Both players have enjoyed strong seasons in the Premier League, with Sessegnon finding the net eight times for the Black Cats, while Ben Arfa scored his sixth of the campaign with a fine solo effort against Bolton on Monday. “We could have had Sessegnon at one time I think,” said Redknapp. “The people who work for me weren’t really convinced at the time – they were watching him and they didn’t feel that he was any better than what we had, in all honesty. “We still had Pavlyuchenko here, and Defoe. But he is a talent, there’s no doubt about that – a really good player in behind the striker. “The boy at Newcastle’s a good player as well, he’s a talent, Ben Arfa. He’s similar, another good little dribbler. “We probably could have had him as well, but you can’t take everyone can you? You end up with dozens of players hanging around, and we’ve got good players here anyway so he might not have got in our team. “Do I regret not taking Sessegnon? Not really. He’s a good little player but I’ve got Van der Vaart. You’re just going to cause yourself a bigger problem. “Rafa plays there really, in behind the striker, and he’s not going to be happy sitting around and not playing. “Rafa scores goals and makes goals. He’s a top player, so you can’t just say ‘oh I’ll have him, and him’. Some football clubs end up with too many and all you have is problems.”
