Yes. Thought so. Well I'll put my money on this one happening. We need a striker, Pardew has little money to work with, Ranger will hopefully go out on loan, and he'll be cheap by PL standards (£3m), oh and the bottom half of the Prem is s*** so if Barton gets a few crosses in against the weaker teams that we still have left to play he might get the old goal. Ashley regime signing I'm afraid, I'll give the lad my support if he comes here anyway. There's quite a difference between not rating someone and actively wanting them to do badly in our colours. Some people in the Pardew thread don't seem able to grasp this concept. Aye have noticed that a fair bit. The only player I really constantly give stick is Alan Smith and occasionally Perch, shit fucker

There are plenty saying they are not bothered about the result which is just as bad. The fans who act like that don't deserve us to win a trophy. It was a freak result. Just because people aren't crying their eyes out and rioting down Northumberland Street doesn't mean they don't care. People got their anger out, shrugged their shoulders and got back to focussing the league. Yes it's a terrible result, but it's not the end of the world - NUFC have been disappointing us like this in cup competitions for years. I would say the Birmingham 5-1 was worse than this. The second sentence is a ridiculous thing to say btw - and this is coming from someone who really wanted us to give it a go. Too f***ing right it was, I was one of the few that stayed till the end at that game. Matty Pattison on the left, f*** me. f***ing hell, so getting beat off a team that was only 12 places below us is worse than a team 73 places. Deary me, some f***ing idiots in this place. You realise you're seen as the main moron on here right? Hmm, at least I take stick unlike others on here and put my viewpoint across. Too many fans with short memories about what the cup means to NUFC. Everybody can take stick man, fucking hell no one is arguing that it was a bad result, I'm pretty sure every one knows how many times we've won the cup and what it means to everyone. I'd LOVE to win the FA Cup, everyone would, but now we're out, we have to accept it and move on. In my opinion, because I was there for the whole 90 minutes, the Birmingham one was worse. If you disagree fine, but talk of feeling sorry for the fans who made the trip is rubbish, its part of being a football fan, you get beat badly sometimes, but you stick with them and move on. We were just as bad against Bolton but no one was talking about feeling sorry for the away support then.

Howay man, it's not the first time we've been knocked out the cup by a team lower down the divisions than us. It's not the end of the world EDIT: And who's 'happy' with the result? God man this is the worst performance in more than 15 years I've been watching nufc. Too many ppl on here have short minds about what the cup means to NUFC. And you seem to have forgotten every good result we've had this year. Let the mongs from their shithole with a train station have their moment. If we'd lost to Wigan and West Ham but beaten Stevenage would I be happy? Would I f***. EDIT: Just seen your quip about Routledge. Fuck off with that shit, you accuse other people of being short sighted but you've completely forgotten about the effect Routledge had on our championship winning season.

hahahaha, did he blame injuries? who was injured that wasnt for west ham alan? steven f***ing taylor? Jose and Jonas. We missed them massively. Jose is so much better than Perch its ridiculous and Jonas is important for general momentum with his running and strength on the ball.

What? How are those linked? What does apologising have to do with being out of your depth? He got it wrong today as did the players but he's won 3 out of his 5 league games. 2 of which were MASSIVE games for us. Guess, you've missed our history with the Cup. The cup means a lot to NUFC fans, Shearer even said that he thought we would prefer to win the cup than the league. If he doesn't know at all about NUFC's history then he shouldn't be managing our club tbh. Don't patronise me, I know full well about our cup history. Its a bad performance but him not apologising has nothing to do with him being out of his depth, West Ham have a good history, did he apologise every time they played badly then? Some of the kneejerk on here has been absolutely ridiculous.

Simon 'cunt' Bird on twitter "Yet another national humiliation for #nufc This one worse because it is on the pitch. Eclipses #safc and #boro losses today" What on earth is he talking about. Horrible journo.

The fans that showed up to watch that shower of shite.
