kirk, are you using VLC player, or what? how did you manage to get it playing, mines playing up. i'll post what you say in the OP for others.

I think the giss servers must be down - that VLC method worked perfectly last night, gave an excellent, uninterupted stream. I'll do this tomorrow night if I can't get it working before half 9.
