Under strengths, you've put defending. That's just your job though -

Yellow for that but nowt for Dahoud's which was virtually identical? Great consistency. Just like the Premier League. -

I was talking about for Fulham just to be clear, don't want us to go anywhere near. For a mid-table PL side it's definitely worth a punt at that price though.

Worth a gamble at £6m-£8m I think. Clearly has some kind of talent, just got lost in the middle of the Chelsea Shit Show.
-
Scored the final goal of the Ashley era, he'll always have that as his legacy. That and his goal which was both cheered and booed when deployed as an emergency striker away at Rotherham in a friendly under Bruce

Jason Prior? Had a trial, ended up at Wimbledon I think

I know a lad who's a Blackburn fan, always said he was by far their best player when he could be arsed but was often overweight and injured. Sounds perfect for Sunlin.

Hope he does well and they make it permanent. Shame it didn't work out, good signing on paper but definitely a fresh start needed. Feels like a bit of momentum re: getting the pap in the squad out which is encouraging.

Felt like he was on the cusp of breaking through a year or two ago and then got a bad injury last pre-season and missed a lot of his last loan. Hope he does well, good luck to him. Clearly a good Football League level player. -

£60-odd million for Marc Cucarella man has to be the worst buy in history. -

Good practice for the real fixtures having fussy, inconsistent referees. -

Really hope this isn't going to be a trend where we look good early doors and then concede to the opposition's first chance against the run of play. Hopefully we "get that out of our system" before the real stuff starts. -
Will be playing for Gateshead in 5 years. [/ashleyera] Looks the real deal like. So happy we've an infrastructure and management team that will help him kick on. Not saying Matty Longstaff would have gone on to be a PL regular but we bungled that lad's development so badly. After that insane debut vs Man U you'd have not thought he'd get quietly released after some failed League 2 loans a couple years later.

First choice back four playing as a unit is good. Wonder if Pope is going to get two halves and then start one of the Sela games. L Miley is definitely going to get some minutes this season. Glad he's being rewarded with more game time. -

Aye, think I referred to this last night, it's so much better flying to the US for an organised tournament against decent PL sides than going there to play against Orlando City on a plastic pitch or Portland Timbers Reserves or whatever. The intensity and fitness gains from last night will be so much higher than if we were playing local sides, even MLS standard ones. -

Good watch that. Draw probably fair. Anderson, Miley, Lascelles, Gordon, Manquillo definitely standing out as having good games. Both our strikers on the scoresheet with "strikers goals" and Barnes getting his debut. Good to see Big Jow back too. On the other side... Dubravka at fault for two of the three goals, Dummett being Dummett, Ritchie looks even slower than I remember and Targett looked suspect at times. Overall a good exercise - much better playing PL opposition than pissing about playing Portland Timbers reserves or whoever we used to always face on these jaunts. -
Recently turned 17 years old, absolutely mental. He seems to have skipped that phase young players go through where they look alright in flashes but weak or ill-suited to the men's game; kid is an impressive height and size before you consider his considerable talent and confidence. You can see why we clearly aren't considering another CM this window with the emergence of this fella and as Anderson's stock gradually starts to rise. He's been excellent in this Villa game, really standing out against a proper team of PL players.

Remember, in a proper Premier League match with VAR those two nailed on pen shouts would lead to exactly the same outcome, which is encouraging.
