  7. WBA at 8/1 I can't ignore, went for a small stake on it.

    Alan Pardew

Aye, never saw or heard any evidence of this tbh. It's a very easy thing to claim when things aren't going well. It's something that people always say when a manager loses a lot of games.
  9. Clean sweep for me yesterday! £32 profit, yay.

  11. Benteke FGS @ 9/2 (Betfred double and triple that price respectively if he gets first then another goal or two goals) Aston Villa / Man Utd double @ 4/1 (enhanced Betfred double)
  12. 19 career red cards, including one for attacking a cameraman. The bloke's an absolute fucking headcase.
  13. http://shop.sportsworldcards.com/ekmps/shops/sportsworld/images/bolton-wanderers-gerald-cid-147-merlin-premier-league-2007-08-sticker-4153-p.jpg Played about 10 games for Bolton after signing a 3 and a half year deal and was packed off the same January - this included an absolute shocker against us in the 1-3 Martins overhead kick game at the Reebok. Retired after 2 years at Nice, aged 26, due to being not very good at football. http://shop.sportsworldcards.com/ekmps/shops/sportsworld/images/west-ham-united-tomas-repka-483-merlin-fa-premier-league-06-football-sticker-59746-p.jpg Nutter and not very good footballer who played an astonishing amount of games for West Ham despite being unable to do the defending parts of being a defender. Made a big song and dance of leaving West Ham and pissed off back to Eastern Europe eventually. http://shop.sportsworldcards.com/ekmps/shops/sportsworld/images/deportivo-de-la-coruna-lionel-scaloni-206-mundicromo-sport-liga-98-99-football-trading-card-26860-p.jpg By far the worst player to feature in the 2006 Argentina World Cup squad (laughably actually playing quite a few minutes), had a spell on loan at West Ham and was absolutely taken apart by Hansen on MOTD a few times. Currently playing for Atlanta in Italy aged 34.
  14. The defending for the winner bugs me about ten times as much as that. I've not been this pissed off since that period of time when Krul was in net and at least one spawny deflected goal per game went past him, was late end of 2010 I think.
  15. The Bale one is much more tiresome tbh, I can at least see their point with the Lampard one. He's clearly got at least another year or two in him. Bale on the other hand is a top-end Premier League player in good form, yet is being ludicrously shoe-horned into the very top bracket by all, and that's very fucking irritating.

    Papiss Cissé

Howay man, his build up play is only bettered by a select few in the division according to some. They must have had about five times the amount of pints that I've had then, because that's just completely false. His first touch is erratic at best.

    Papiss Cissé

He needs to get his act together, he was piss poor today. Alright, all strikers go on a bit of a dry run but his touch, positioning, movement were all lacking to certain degrees and we literally have nobody else worthy of starting upfront (until we sign a proper right-forward to free up Gouffran). It's just not good enough at the moment.
  18. The winning goal was absolutely shambolic defending and if it was Williamson or some other hated NUFC defender he'd be getting dogs abuse for it. It was absolutely pathetic and I'm really annoyed about it. Otherwise today he was alright, I thought, but that goal, man. I'll be having nightmares about it tonight.
  19. I'd quite like to see him start up front on Thursday, see what he can do in a central position. derp
  20. As much as Spurs were the better team today, I was so so so pissed off with the winning goal. Absolutely pathetic from Coloccini, such weak defending. No idea why he backed off from the initial ball forwards. I'm not blaming Krul per se but the finish wasn't exactly with pace and it was right in the centre of the position where he rushed out from. It was such a soft goal and it cost us a point today. Cisse needs to buck his ideas up too, he was utterly minging today. His touch was shocking all afternoon long, sadly though he has fuck all competition with Gouffran out wide (and now injured) and frigging Shola as the next genuine striking option. I'm not too worried after today though, I didn't see too much wrong with what Pardew did (whatever you think about Perch or Tiote starting/not starting) and the subs seemed areet too, despite Shola coming on. It seemed a bit like one of those days, really, although I felt Cisse, Santon, Coloccini and even Cabaye to an extent all underperformed today.
  21. Well, it was nice to have a winner today seeing me a whopping £6.80 in profit. Despite a rather shan looking red card for Lincoln in the first half, they managed to score a late pen to win it by my chosen scoreline.
  22. Can't stand Danny Mills, particularly when he sits with his gormless smoggie mate Clem and has a go at Newcastle every week on that shit show. Tosser.
  23. I fancy Santon to break his duck today, he's come close to scoring in our last few and it's only a matter of time imo.
  24. I'm no expert but I think appointing Brian Ching as player/manager would solve basically every problem with the US national team ever.
