  1. I think we'll win this one pretty comfortably. 2-0.
  2. Credit has to go to Andy Woodman, as well as the lad himself, cos he looked so piss poor when he first signed for us in those cup/reserve games he played in. He looks like a very competent keeper now, and as someone else said that save low down from Eto'o was an excellent stop.

    James Perch

Absolutely excellent, tonight. Very impressive, and looked no different when he was pushed into the midfield.
  4. I agree that he's been inconsistent at best, but this really is a fucking baffling post when you consider that you talk up Gosling all of the time.
  5. Absolute shite as a spectacle but an excellent result, and Pardew completely got it right tonight.
  6. Perch and Williamson kept Suarez quiet. Stuff like this can be done, have some faith.

  8. On the bench tonight. Hopefully he'll get a shout at some point, even if it's just for a couple of minutes.
  9. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20130307/anzhi-v-newcastle-ben-arfa-starts_2281670_3100612 Confirmed team, as previously reported.
  10. Elliot Simpson Yanga-Mbwia Perch Haidara Anita Cabaye Ben Arfa Marveaux Obertan Sissoko IMO.
  11. We're 11/2 tonight so I've went with an optimistic £2 on that. Also covered Sissoko FGS, Cabaye 1-1, Anzhi HT Draw FT and Anzhi 2-1. And a BTTS in our game, Chelsea's and Spurs's's's's at 9/2.
  12. We'll go 2-0 down and look shit, then rally for a late and vital away goal imo.
  13. On the basis of those comments it'll probably be: Elliot Santon Yanga-Mbwia Taylor Haidara Anita Cabaye Marveaux Sissoko Gutierrez Cisse
  14. 2-1 defeat IMO. Which, whilst not ideal, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to come home with. Sissoko to score for us.
  15. I think he'll go next season tbh. I could see him going off to St. Mirren or Hearts or somewhere for six months.
  16. I think he should stay put until the end of the season, keep him in the first-team squad and look to give him a few tasters off the bench - and then send him out on loan, to a League One or SPL team, for the first half of next season.
  17. I wonder if he'll be on the plane to Russia? He's essentially the third-choice out and out striker at the club, especially now Ranger has fucked off, and if we're playing Shola and Cisse in the first XI we could do with him on the bench.

It's like a Daily Star article.

Funny how Pardew was talking about bringing him back in and we saw those few sub appearances lately. Strange time to do it. Good riddance though, he'll get picked up by a League 1 team IMO.

    amazing.
  22. Excellent news, this. He and Sammy looked the most desperate for loans out of all of our young players. We may as well see if we can send Amalfitano out for a few games too.
  23. Yep, completely agree. And I don't even particularly rate him that much.
