He was fine otherwise, but as you say his marking was absolutely criminal for both of the goals. If we'd lost 2-1 then people would be giving Taylor 2/10 or something. The second one in particular he was absolutely miles away from Lambert, Santon was at fault for being absolutely nowhere too, but it's not really an excuse for Taylor to fuck up too.

He's an excellent Pardew player because not only does he work hard and graft and get back, he also more than ticks the box attacking-wise with his pace, skill, decision-making and intelligence.

Really glad Elliot had a good game today, I know it's his only first game in the PL but hopefully some of the more depressive personalities on here who claimed it was an absolute disaster and that we'd lose every game without Krul will realise they're wrong.

His kicking is far superior to Krul's, if we're going on today. Two goals against but he's been excellent imo.
