Agbonlahor could potentially work out well for the mackems. He's clearly got some talent, and had a good spell at Villa a few years ago - he looks to me like he's absolutely dying for a move. He's stagnated at Villa now and needs a transfer to kick-start his career again.
£10m is very expensive though. It's not a guarantee he'll find his form.
I think it's fair enough not letting Cisse play in the Olympics, seeing as we lost him for the AFCON last season and will potentially do so again this.
(in a thick German mock accent)
E-I-E-I-E-I-O
Up zee Premier League ve go
When we kill zee fuhrer, zis is what ve sing
We're the Geordies, super Geordies
Pardew is wor Kaiser
I think he's got a lot of useful attributes, and that he'll be a success here. If he can muster 10 appearances next season it'll be a big breakthrough for him, much like little Shane did in our first season back.
I'm sure I read somewhere that as Pardew arrived for his first training session as NUFC manager, Xisco had just knacked himself and was being put into an ambulance
He's in the training photos from this morning, so he's still here. No news on a contract yet, although he and Pards said he'd be there this season coming.
I wonder if he said that entire sentence in that stupid attempt at a Dutch voice and then suddenly switched to an ailing Italian stereotype for the end bit.
