Shame he had no idea how to correctly manage squad players such as Best, Guthrie, Perch and Ryan Taylor. All of them have looked spectacularly better under Pardew. Guthrie's performances away to West Brom this season and last season (despite being 3rd choice CM in both managers pecking orders) have been like chalk and cheese.

He looked absolutely shagged after about 65 minutes like. Had we not needed to replace Coloccini and Cisse I like to think he'd have come off, he's played so many 90 minute games lately. He needs a rest at some point.
