Like mackems yesterday, no need to have you hand outstretched. Probably not deliberate but should be given for defender stupidity IMO. He's stopped a ball going into the box because his arm/hand is outstretched. Whether he means it or not he's gaining an advantage by having his arm there and blocking the ball.

Bottom right.

caught out of position loads, even when he knew that position was getting targeted. I don't have a great issue with that if it's due to coming back from an attack, as has been mentioned it's the responsibility of others to slot in for him too - that's something we have to work on as a team. Thought he generally mopped things up fairly well, especially in the first half. Wasn't amazing or anything but certainly don't think he was very poor either.
-
What did he do that contributed to him being 'very poor' defensively?
-
He's currently nowhere near the first team and come next weekend will be even further away. Not sure why anybody in their right mind would want him to stay here when it'd be much more beneficial to send him out on loan.
-
Didn't think he was actually that bad today. Defended well on the whole although he was obviously caught out for the second goal. As Disco mentioned though, others should be looking to fill in when he does go forward (same goes for Debuchy too). We have two fullbacks now who like to get forward, Tiote in particular has to be switched on and not wander too far forward when they do so as he should be the first one looking to drop in for them.
-
Honestly wouldn't take him here. He's a typical English player, works hard but doesn't have much end product. You're always going to struggle as a striker when you don't score.
-
No, no. Under. He should be an automatic choice for England. He's fucking garbage.

Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas If a player blasts the ball at your hand, is there much you can do about it? That's referring to the WBA penalty. Was he even watching the game?

Overrated: Joe Hart Underrated: James Morrison

"The other guy".

Harper hasn't been decent at all. Elliot's been fine when he's played this season though.

Leave Pardew in Ukraine please.

Before I think. What's this I'm hearing about Shola starting through the middle with Cisse wide right Counts in ET as well. 0-0 FT and 1-1 after ET and we're through. Away goals doesn't count in a penalty shootout though.

Why not hundreds of billions? wey cos thats a ridiculous number. I might go up to a billion. Bottler.

Why not hundreds of billions?

Absolutely. They're really missing him, their performances have been very underwhelming since he's been undergoing treatment.
-
Possibly, would be with real difficulty though and would take a lot of time to work out!

Coral @Coral From over 72,000 entrants we have one lucky punter left in our Win a Million competition! Just two Correct Scores away from £1,000,000! Coral @Coral He's got 6 already and the results he needs tonight are: Milan 0-2 Barcelona and Galatasaray 1-1 Schalke TO WIN A MILLION QUID!

Went for this, cue Arsenal snatching a meaningless draw in the next leg. That'd be annoying. 2-1 would have actually been a better score for it leading into the next leg I think, got to admit I was happy when they got the third to make sure of the win tonight though. Get much on?
-
That's the hard bit out of the way, in theory. More than covered my stake on this anyway, went in quite heavily on Bayern @ 11/10. Too good a price to turn down in my eyes considering their away form this season.
-
Can't believe how the awarding of that corner that led to the goal has barely had a mention. Had it been the other way around they'd still be showing the replays of it now.
-
Cabaye's defensive work is massive for us and he really shouldn't be listed there. It isn't his biggest asset though.
-
Anyone who thinks Bayern will win tonight, I assume they'll fancy them for the home leg too. If you want a bit more value than the just below EVS on offer for a win tonight, SkyBet go 2/1 for Bayern to win both legs.
