  1. How is it grumpiness to say something that is clearly not funny... is not funny? They're in every fucking post on here and it's bloody tedious!
  2. Whats your bet? Had them in few bets with Spurs -1, Madrid -1 and Everton to qualify. Also £200 on them as a single.
  3. Gonna make a profit tonight but as it stands, Benfica are doing me out of about a grand.
  4. Been contemplating that treble today, think I'm gonna go for it.
  5. Not a malicious player though so that means he can make whatever challenge he wants and it isn't a booking.
  6. You're managed by Kenny Dogleash. That's what it's all about, sunshine.
  7. Really not hung up on signing Pieters anyway. Not seen a great deal of him but from what I have he doesn't look the quickest and doesn't look that good defensively either. People who've seen more of him may have seen more in him than I have anyway but he doesn't really look like the type of fullback I'd like to see take us on to the next level.

i think due to injuries we have ran out of right backs. Early in the season the likes of Nzuzi and Nicholson played but both are now injured. Airey has played at fullback before, he was seemingly rotated between striker and right back a couple of seasons ago then started banging goals in and stayed up front. In the two recent games i've seen him play he's been dreadful at full back! Ah, thanks for that info. I watched him play in the Reserves Derby at St. James' and he looked rather out of place at RB! As long as he's not a long-term option but is just covering for injuries, then that's fine..... Do you reckon he'll make the first team proper? (I know he's been on the bench a few times). He's being released at the end of the season.
  9. They create lots of chances but play an awful brand of football.

    Nile Ranger

Just told my mate who's a Wednesday fan - he was delighted at the prospect of Nile joining Gary Madine. That'll be an interesting one.
  11. Cheers for the Thompson pic/post, Dan.
  12. Someone post the pic of Thompson again please, seems to have disappeared.
  13. £9.99. Still bought one like.
  14. Oliver Holt ‏ @OllieHoltMirror Mirror column tomorrow on Terry Connor and why he is being judged more harshly than another new Wolves manager would be Oliver Holt ‏ @OllieHoltMirror Connor being written off and ridiculed after 4 games in charge. Little wonder that would-be black coaches are dissuaded from taking badges Holt really is a prick at times. I'm absolutely certain people aren't ridiculing Connor as a manager just because of his race.

    Alan Pardew

That's very relevant to the topic of passing, cheers. Quite pertinent to the topic of winning football matches, which Alan Pardew (the perosn being discussed in this thread) is paid to do. Just broadening the debate is all I don't think anyone's debating that we won the game.

Out of the top eight players who completed the most passes in the game, seven of them were Norwich players.

Except the Arsenal game, Ive had the perceptions hes a f***ing joke of a footballer. All season hes looked scared of the ball, playing terrible balls. Did it today once or twice but in the end he had Cabaye, Ba, Ben Arfa and Guthrie helping him out meaning he didnt have to touch the ball more than once. Awful technically but the way he destroyed their game the whole time has given me hope of him being a decent backup as a holding midfielder to Cheick. So impressed by him today. Disagree massively with the bits in bold. Please, elaborate why. My perception of him is one thing, would be interesting to know why you disagree. Possibly we have a different opinion on football or my personal feelings towards him clouds my judgement completely. I take Stoke game as an obvious example why I dont like (actually didnt like) him as a footballer, he came on running around everytime he got the ball he was clueless what to do with it and deserved to be sent off for an awful tackle. Even today Pardew was telling him to calm down a bit, lunges far to much into tackles and I think the reason he was so so good today was that he was rarely under pressure. That's my guess. You're making out like he's been terrible all season which I don't believe he has been. He isn't the most comfortable on the ball but he's also more than adequate. He's decent technically, again not great but there's enough there for him to be in the side without people having to go off on one because he's playing. He's won a lot of tackles and headers this season and not backed out of a challenge. Every time he's played, he's ran himself into the ground and not bottled anything. I hope people start to lay off him a little more now as he's done a job when asked and can contribute to our remaining games.

    Alan Pardew

I lost it with Pardew when this happened. Absolute arsehole. There was nothing wrong with what HBA did yet he chooses to lambast him and not say anything to Williamson, horrible management. How do you know he didn't have a go at Williamson? Were you on Pardewcam? I made a point of watching how Pardew reacted to what happened; he only had a go at HBA. Laugh all you want but the truth hurts. I assume you were at the game, you stopped paying attention to everything else, drowned out the noise from the crowd, were sitting right near Pardew and heard him single out Ben Arfa? It isn't difficult to see which player the manager is talking/shouting to. So you zoned out completed as soon as HBA picked up the ball and spent the entire time watching Pardew until Williamson gave the ball away? What are you going on about? You don't even know what you're arguing anymore. As several people have already pointed out to you, give it up, it's extremely childish. Jon saw you on his tele, he's got you banged to rights.
