  1. Hopefully if he does, it won't be with us. Ah, and why? What has he done to show he'd be a good coach? What should he have done to have shown you he's a good candidate? You're the one who wants him, you tell me.

    Ryan Taylor

£60k a week to sit on the bench? No thanks. I am no fan of Joey Barton but if he was still here I would start him on the right every week over Ryan Taylor. Wouldn't get a look in over Ben Arfa though.

  7. Could be some from West Ham pending on Promotion. Some from Swansea for Routledge. Think we're still owed some Bassong money too. Pretty sure there was something about all the Carroll money being upfront as part of his deal. Thought it was something like £30m upfront £5m later?

Fine with that, decent person to have in the squad.

    Other clubs' transfers

Depends, if Arsenal qualify for the CL i reckon he will stay........ who is going to buy him who could afford him? Barca? dont need him...... Madrid ? dont need him...... Milan? dont need him...... Bayern? Dont need him...... The only two who could make sense are Juventus ( tho i think the forward they buy will be of a different profile and will be in his early 20s) and City simply because they buy anyone and everyone....... But even City has Balotelli, Aguero, Dzeko, Tevez and loads of other other AM/Wingers aswell, he would be smart to stay at Arsenal. Just seen this. Left me speechless, some really strange stuff in that post. What's strange about it? Milan has Ibra, Barca has Messi, Bayern has Gomez, Madrid has Higuian and Benzema........ None of them actually need him. I don't understand why any team wouldn't need the second best striker in the world over the last 12 months. He'd improve every team you've mentioned and I include Barca in that. Staying at Arsenal would be the dumbest thing he could do - he isn't going to win anything there.
  10. I've come to learn in the past that these sort of runs must end some time. But still, could back worse teams Torquay... Look, I'm sorry! I suffered too You're lucky I had other winners that day or you'd have been banned from my flat! That bet we discussed a week last Sunday, the price should be online tomorrow so I'll text you to let you know if we're piling in. And will do about the potential avalanche bet! There's maybe potential for a tasty double, will depend on the handicap. Next weekend is the weekend though.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Every time Hatem made a pass, he was wanting to get Tiote on the ball, particularly when Simpson had it. Lovely to see him trying to dictate things.
  16. have a proper answer in the summer hopefully. Not sure, depends how Taylor comes back. He won't accept being third choice IMO. I was assuming all these links with big money signings like Vertonghen were if Coloccini was off. We need a good young player to push Williamson down the pecking order. We need to sell Williamson and buy two CBs. Disagree, Williamson is a capable and (probably) willing backup. We would struggle to sign a better player that we could keep happy. The focus should either be on a class CB to go straight in, or a promising young one that can gradually step in. Recovery of Saylor is also a factor. This irks me about our lesser players, people saying they're good enough to be back up when they're clearly not. Williamson was a back up this season and has been pretty woeful since he's come into the side and we've dropped points as a result of it. What defining attributes does he have that would make you happy to see him in our starting XI at any point next season? I can't think of one. Even someone like Obertan for example, at least he has pace which can be used as a useful tool. I'm 100% confident we could find a young defender on the continent for a couple of million (max.) who would be willing to be back up and has more ability than Williamson. We should be looking to bring in a good CB to be playing alongside Colo, leaving Steven Taylor to battle it out with him and then another to come in and be 4th choice.

    Dogawful Officiating

Not really. How's he supposed to see that? O'Shea's been clever with how he's holding onto Williamson, like most other defenders do. Williamson made it clear as day what he was doing. The two incidents are completely different, albeit both shirt pulling.
  19. Biggest signing the club has made in years. The biggest signing we'll make over the duration of his new deal too. Absolutely ecstatic, love you Colo.
  20. If we have a free kick in a position like on those pictures, hopefully he'll be nowhere near it.
