Fulham could maybe get 9 points (Burnley, Southampton, us). That's still only joint with us. West Brom have a more interesting set of games, so anything but a win at Villa this weekend would be fantastic. I think we're there, really.

Every time he did something well today, I convinced myself that he's impressing Klopp. Perhaps he's been a little too good Just the thought of ASM, Ben Arfa and Ba together with a competent non-Shelvey midfield. Woooof.
-
What a player, what a guy. Obviously no Shelvey, though.
-
I hope Rhodri gets some more adverts out of this.

Different shades of shite.

So they're going to use the 'lets not punish these fans, players, managers' line. Bastards.

Strategically-placed jinx

Hope you're both right.

So does anyone trust Leicester to help us out tonight? I don't.
-
Watched it a couple of times and still don't know which is the interesting bit - where he names the 'Big Six' and says the other 14 have a WhatsApp group?
-
If Leicester can beat West Brom tomorrow (which is tough to call), I will be on 2.

I think it's understandable that the media is trying to resume normality tbh, it was quite an exhausting 48 hours.
-
Whilst the other owners are saying sorry, Levy says Sarri
-
Good to know. Would it have stopped it this time though?

A Super League without English clubs, Bayern Munich or PSG? Alright then What a mental 48 hours. Now that they don't have a Super League to turn to, the PL should punish the owners (somehow) and get the EU to create an anti-competition law to stop this ever going ahead in future.
-
Grovelling back to the ECA will be fun. Need to push ahead with something legal to stop this next time, when it inevitably comes up again. Some EU anti-competition law, I dunno.

Like the Fyre Festival?

What a night. Is this what the Berlin Wall coming down felt like? #WeNeedHasselhoff

Well done to the oil men. Oil > America

Just a surreal 2 days. I'm convinced I'm in a coma and none of this really happened
-
I'd agree that it'd feel slightly hollow, because of the circumstances, but at least everyone else was there to compete and beat.

But let's say Newcastle won a trophy (using strong imagination) - what's the achievement? 6 teams have deemed it beneath them, so it's meaningless. Like the Papa John's Trophy.
