A Super League without English clubs, Bayern Munich or PSG? Alright then What a mental 48 hours. Now that they don't have a Super League to turn to, the PL should punish the owners (somehow) and get the EU to create an anti-competition law to stop this ever going ahead in future.

Grovelling back to the ECA will be fun. Need to push ahead with something legal to stop this next time, when it inevitably comes up again. Some EU anti-competition law, I dunno.

Woke up today a bit confident that a couple of clubs will wobble, as reported. Dunno how true this might be but I do think Liverpool may be vulnerable - known for this romanticism, love of fans, You'll Never Walk Alone etc. It's kind of their thing. If they're stuck on 12 teams and can't get PSG, Bayern, Dortmund, Porto etc to enter, the momentum has swung the other way and it's suddenly just a glorified friendly tournament with a Chinese Super League vibe.

This needs to be step one of mobilising the troops. Whether you're a fan, a player, a pundit, whether you're Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle, Sunderland.... we have to get together and do whatever it takes to stop this cancer killing our sport for good.
