It's nice to remember that we have some pretty good players like ASM, Almiron, Willock, Hayden, Wilson.
But then there's also Krafth, Darlow, Shelvey, Hendrick.....
We have to get a win from either Wolves or West Brom, basically.
If we know we're losing, I'd rather it be a headline-grabbing 9-0 which Ashley reads (probably upside down). Ideally Darlow scores a few own goals, just to force Dubravka back in.
In terms of real news, it's always quiet. But normally there are snippets from DeMarco, Kennedy, Ando7 etc that remind us that something is bubbling away.
Oh we have to be the favourites now, absolutely. They have form, a game plan, decent players, a solid defence and a manager who isn't a complete dinosaur.
Think we'd need 4 points from that Wolves, West Brom, Villa, Brighton run and I just don't see it happening.
It's just negativity for the sake of it. I know it's gone a bit quiet over the past couple of weeks but there's more to say it should happen then won't.
Was thinking this last night, actually.
If his pal Staveley assured him the takeover is close, can he come in now before its too late etc. 3 months, walk away if he's still stuck with Ashley.
But nah. Already dismissed too.
Another shout out for Champion and McCoist
Just a wonderful duo. I worked Southampton v Wolves on Sunday and McCoist was like a kid on xmas day with Ings' volley. Was so giddy
