Who says he wont start? Anita, Cabaye, Tiote, Jonas. Bar an injury crisis, one of those will be rested every match. I understand spending such a fee on Debuchy or another quality RB but, for a club that prides itself on being prudent, I'm surprised at this one. I do think he'll offer us new tactical options though, which is a good thing.

So maybe this meeting did happen yesterday.... I'd put another midfielder 2nd in the priority list behind Debuchy - I can definitely see why we're in for him, I'm just shocked we're paying such a fee for 'competition' rather than a nailed on starter.

Well now that Sylvain is back from injury, we can give the 'You say Cabaye and I say Marveaux' Beatles tribute another go.

not so sure about that. he needed to go somewhere thats good at bringing youngsters through, instead he'll now get thrown in somewhere and it won't do him much good. chelsea have handled him badly and if he's not careful it'll cost him. I guess that Chelsea wouldn't loan him out to sit on another bench and if Fletcher comes in, Lukaku will be #2. I think he has lots of potential but it's such a shame he went to Chelsea when he obviously wouldn't get games. Same thing will happen to Moses.
