I understand why not sacking Bruce adds to the 'no takeover' narrative but I still think it can be spun as "I'm about to leave (post-arbitration) so I don't give a shit about relegation or Bruce".

So Ashley doesn't want to pay off Bruce when he thinks it'll soon be the new owners' problem, his only move was to hire Jones to force the resignation. It didn't work, Bruce won't leave and nobody blinks first until we've drowned.

Never had us down to get anything from this match because Brighton are far better. But the manner continues to be disturbing. We're not laying a glove on anybody.... genuinely no idea what a goal is.

Replacing Darlow, Lewis & Krafth with Dubravka, Dummett & Manquillo gives me more confidence in our defence. Add Willock to a recovered ASM-Wilson-Almiron and there'll be a good team.

At some point, Fulham need to start losing to lesser teams. It's tiring watching them get points against everyone that isn't Man City or Spurs.

They're helped by everyone in the top 6 falling over themselves to hand them promotion. They've got some good players for that level, so they should really be top, but they'll need a strong summer to have a squad that'll stay up next season.

Had a horrific week, as per usual. Nobody's brought in more than the 6 of Dias and Calvert-Lewin, although Dallas' shock clean sheet sits nicely on the bench.

I can take years of NUFC depression if there's an occasional good event or shred of hope to keep me going. We just don't get those anymore, it is just a relentless sequence of shite heaped upon more shite. And I'm just tired of it..... beyond tired. I'm emotionally destroyed.

Well I think today has put a pin in it. This week we thought Brighton had a chance out of pure desperation but they weren't really going to go. So it's us or Fulham. But this run of games was meant to put a gap between us before the tough ones, not lessen it.

A win would only keep our heads above water a bit longer. Don't see any way we could even do that. 2-0

This narrative that Brighton are shite puzzled me. Yeah yeah, "table doesnt lie" but they always look better than us. Be shocked if they went down.
