  1. On BBC's World Football Phone-in, Tim Vickery keeps going on about this 6'4" centre back at Vasco called Dede, thinks he's going to be world class. Someone like that would be a perfect partner for Colo and I think we could be that shop window for him. I wonder if he's on our radar....
  2. The Sun says Vedran Corluka wants to leave Spurs - worth a shot? He can do right back and centre back. I'm sure we could at least do a loan.
  3. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3966225/Gary-didnt-argue-with-wife-he-wasnt-depressed.html His agent says Speed didn't suffer from depression, although maybe he's hidden it incredibly well. Theres also his last pictures, that were taken on Saturday outside BBC studios
  4. Bryn Seeing someone cry is one thing, but hearing it is so awful.

Fingers crossed they get O'Neill. Can see Mark Hughes going there whenever Bruce goes.

If the Legends say it, it's probably not true.

    LOL at Lolro

MotD needs a serious revamp and I don't mean making it HD, or whatever they've done. But if their painfully formulaic and dull coverage is getting a large audience, it'll never change. Personally, I prefer waiting for Goals on Sunday just to avoid the skin-crawling sensation everytime Lawro is on screen.
  8. The minute silence is normally followed by a minute of pure noise anyway, so lets just go with that.
  9. When I get our third kit, I was all set to go with Coloccini 2 on the back. But now it HAS to be Speed 11
  10. 52 points, not too bad. If only I made Adebayor captain, it would've been immense! EA consistently fuck up the bonus points, like.

WIRESIDE IS GONE Tonight is the end of an era - a WUMmy era and a jaw-wiring era. Is it true that the mods were considering relaxing the c-word rules for him only??
  12. Robert Enke raised the profile of depression in Germany and hopefully this tragedy can do the same here. Theres a taboo surrounding it because people don't want to show weakness, but depression is a disease just like any medical condition.
  13. Its not like a gunshot, he'd have needed to tie knots and stuff.
  14. i need an explanation or a reason - no matter how trivial - because right now i cant fathom why this happened. hanging is a pre-meditated act and that is fucking scary. i don't cry ever, but today i wish i could. just seeing how normal he was yesterday, he was talking about a future that he'll never have it feels worse than it did earlier tbh
  15. Howard Wilkinson was right. Speed wasn't one of those wild players with vices or sordid secrets, he was just an ordinary bloke. A grounded, respected professional that had his head screwed on. Knowing that, this is heartbreaking.
  16. It's Gary Speed, man I'm really struggling with this one.
  17. Fucking insane, man. What the hell has he done that for? I always thought that depressed people kill themselves, but he isn't that guy
  18. I'm struggling with this one. Gary Speed hanging himself? That can't be right He was a down to earth lad with a great job and family. This doesn't make sense in any way. Never been so shocked, i'm just numb. RIP

Wireside's latest masterplan What a glorious last few pages on here!
  20. Nike would've been awesome, but tbf to Puma they got our 3rd kit spot on this year.
  21. Ashley would be wise to notice how Levy handled Modric this summer. Yeah they could've made a bunch of moolah, but they're arguably better than Chelsea now. Whilst we aren't at Spurs' level, there really is no need to sell. Scary headline though!
  22. Its all over - gutted 6 points is probably too much, even at this stage.

That shade is DEFINITELY 'Strangulation Purple'.
  24. Just shut up and retire Fergie, you senile twat. What a despicable human being.
