the mackem mates we share are pretty clueless about football in general though. Especially the wannabe doctor that went to Magaluf in a 'Geordie Boys on Tour' t-shirt.
true.
"We're from Sunderland"
"What is that? Where is this?"
"Erm....near Newcastle"
"Ohhh Newcastle! Newcastle! Alan Shearer, si? Bobby Robson, si?"
"Aye....the kernts. Huh huh huh"
The smug feeling of knowing your mackem mates will be proved wrong is fantastic. They think I'm stupid for not rating MON....I'm right and they don't even know it yet.
Mackems are - without exception - the scum of the earth. Having to live anywhere near that bombsite makes me sick, so let them have their little 'victories' - nobody ever has and ever will give a flying fuck about them
Cabaye and Guthrie consistently did some beautiful passes today and Krul was his usual fantastic self. Ba created plenty of chances for himself and I think he linked up well with Shola. There were positives from the game, but a lot of damage has been done today.
Pardew has done very well here, but if he persists with Raylor, Obertan and Loven he's digging his own grave. There's loyalty and then theres picking absolutely shite footballers every week. Good interview though.
Can't remember too many worse defensive displays for us than that. This man is one disaster after another after another and the occasional goal doesn't change the fact that he's an atrocious footballer.
