Gameiro was the best signing I ever made on FM. Tbh.
Got a Lille game on the go and I bought him. Cabaye, Gervinho and Gameiro playing together is a joy (Hazard and Rami too). Therefore, using flawless logic, he'd be a mint signing for us.
comparing Gameiro to Owen is daft
the only similarity is that we aren't first choice for either of them. but that doesn't mean they'll have the same attitude upon arrival - thats a personal thing. Owen chose to do nothing because he has no guts, but whilst he could afford to be lazy due to his reputation, Gameiro doesn't have one yet. if Gameiro is lazy he has to go back and start again. Owen took a clear step down to join us, whereas we are still a step up from lorient. OK, we're not his beloved valencia, but we're in that direction. and thats why he will give his all at this club. taking his time isn't a bad thing, we're just seeing it as that because we're nervous.
ultimately, Gameiro sees us as a stepping stone, whereas Owen saw us as a retirement home.
When did you change it to New Zealand? It was Falkland Islands last time....
I'm not on Chester-le-Street's 'Notable People' anymore either
changed it in the hope you'd be stalked if there was ever an injury crisis for NZ and you might get a phone call. Don't think Falkland Islands have a team.
You're some sort of crazy genius. Love it.
Or it could lead to Spurs having a sane number of midfielders again.
At the moment its Lennon, Bale, Huddlestone, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Palacios, Jenas, Bentley, Kranjcar, Dos Santos, Pienaar, O' Hara and Rose
If Gervinho doesn't happen, thats fine because Zoggy is the alternative. I'm just worried as to who Gameiro's alternative is. Erding has been linked with Galatasaray too.
@themichaelowen you're a vile, scummy, cretinous creature. you actually think you matter in football?!?! everybody's laughing at you. prick.
....i think i've flipped. but yeh, i really hate that despicable shithead.
