The world has gone mad. But i guess we've known that for a while now....
-
And also, Bent >>> Wickham. So they've downgraded.
-
Could turn out to be decent, we don't know. But it won't be at Sunderland and he's not the goalscorer they need right now. I'm not jelly at all.
-
But the type of clubs where Sturridge will play first team football are the ones that can't afford his wages. Maybe Spurs would be realistic, but Bolton/Stoke/Newcastle can't do it. The lad should be sensible enough to realise that a few years on less wages (50k) is worth it if it means he gets to play, get England caps and ultimately, end up back at the massive clubs. Unfortunately many players aren't this sensible anymore, so I don't know why I'm hoping he will be.
-
If so, he shouldn't be. Signing two players for free would balance it out and it enables us to go for one big deal - Sturridge ticks almost every box.
-
I'd be furious if this story was true, especially now it seems he'd be available. He's exactly what we need and we could reach a compromise on his wages (certainly don't see Bolton, Stoke matching them either). If it's down to Sturridge & Erding, and this story is true......I think it is insanity.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/198394/Newcastle-Alan-Pardew-chases-Juan-Manuel-Martinez/? NEWCASTLE are considering a move for Velez Sarsfield striker Juan Manuel Martinez. Juan Manuel Martinez, nicknamed ‘The Little Donkey’, was a target for Wigan and Blackburn earlier this summer. But their interest has waned and Newcastle are now among a trio of clubs keen – with Napoli and Seville also in the running. The Argentine international is 25 years old and the Magpies believe he could have plenty of resale value if he is a hit for Alan Pardew’s men in the Premier League.

Still stick by this. The more I think about it, the more I doubt it's a good fit. Although theres still time for somebody to hijack.

sidlowe Sid Lowe Sport headline announces Joaquín won over fans at Malaga presentation by telling joke. Click on link, no joke. Thanks. For. That. Apparently joke was: Malaga play ChLg final and stadium is full. there's only one seat left, a man asks this woman if it's free. She says no, it's my husband's. Where is your husband? He's dead. Oh. how comes you don't bring some other family member to take seat? I would have, but they've all gone to the funeral. Got to love Joaquín What a legend

Ergh, I hate that adidas template. At least they've moved up to big boy pants and found themselves a sponsor.
-
Now Hughton can buy half our squad. Although this is what happens when fucking Stoke get a bit of power - what a shocking waste of money.

We're British; we love to moan.

I can only see Neymar being a success in Spain (as well as Brazil). The Premier League is a bad idea for him, especially while he's so young. And obviously Russia would be a ridiculous move.
-
Victor Wanyama (we were linked with him a while ago) looks set to join Celtic for £1m. Would've liked him here but haven't seen a great deal of him.
-
Not what Sunderland should be buying right now. They need a good striker, not a will-be-good striker. Having said that, as soon as he plays half-decent he'll be off.
-
Can they afford both of them? I know they want rid of Bojan and Jeffren but I assume they'll get a defender too.
-
The box says it lasts 120 minutes (which I thought wasn't long enough) and it was only 90 minutes. Very brief with some matches like Everton away and they didn't even show Best's disallowed goal vs Arsenal. It isn't rubbish because it'll get a fair few views from me....but it should've been a lot better.
-
Transfer request will happen eventually.
-
I'm sure he could find time to fit in a stint in Qatar/Saudi Arabia.
-
If theres any way we can get Rondon, we have to go for it. He's a very exciting talent and I'd love to have him here.
-
It sounds like we're trying to reunite the Toulouse 2009-10 team. At least they'll come here to lose

Oh, great.

If he keeps on playing, his life will be hell. Something bad will happen to him and it's only a matter of time. It probably isn't worth persisting with football - certainly in the UK. You can't get much lower than paedophilia.
